Oh, then it's definitely gotta be heavy. I'm thinking a warped hunk of lead that he used to practice his magic control in secret. He figured the innkeeper would just throw it away if he left it behind, but they actually took a shine to him and decided to send another patron after him. They remembered that he'd asked for directions to the Stone of Nine, and seeing that Freya was headed in the same direction, gave the job to her. Naturally, a normal innkeeper would think it was some kind of bizarre adventuring tool, but Youngest Brother thinks they know that he was practicing magic. 

Ah... but Youngest Brother doesn't tip. He thinks its a waste if you didn't really go above and beyond. "Didn't you already get paid? and you want more? Tell that to a starving a farmer who works all day for scraps and see what he has to say."

Of course, Youngest Brother doesn't know that Freya used to be a farmer's daughter.
