Wren has inherited the model good looks of her mother, with just a pleasant hint of her father's strong features mixed in. She stands at an average 5'4, but somehow looks taller because of the poised and dignified way she carries herself (or, you know, the three-inch heels she likes to wear). Her golden brown hair falls to her lower back in soft waves, meticulously styled differently each day. Wren's been told that her expressive eyes are one of her biggest assets as a performer, and she has worked tirelessly to perfect the subtleties she could display with just her eyes.
Wren is scrupulous with her appearance. Her fair skin is unblemished, and there's a healthy glow about it that hints at her proper diet. Slim with plentiful curves, her physique is molded to what is expected of rising stars nowadays, and she has an intense morning regimen that she religiously adheres to in order to maintain it. Needless to say, fashion-conscious Wren always adds a personal flair to her uniform. Although she usually gets away with not so much as a reprimand, by using her name or charm, there are stricter teachers and staff that aren't so easily persuaded.

♔ Social Class Explanation ♔ Wren hit the genealogical jackpot. The Sinclairs are from old money. Although they are not as powerful as they once were after losing their other film studios in a mess of a lawsuit, they've dominated in their niche in the animation industry—Synklar Studios is currently one of the world's leading digital animation studio. Then you have the Kingsleys, her mother's family, a Hollywood dynasty. Wren herself is a brilliant performer that is steadily receiving critical acclaim. She is known mostly for her work in the silver screen, but she has had some fruitful endeavors in theater.
♔ Personality ♔Wren often feels like she's a walking bag of contradictions, like she's in between three different movies and she's perpetually cycling through their different characters. The actress, the princess, the overachiever. Because she has been under public scrutiny for most of her life, she can't help but feel defined by others' perceptions of her. If she's not working hard to prove herself, she's working hard to live up to expectations—which is harder when there are so many different things you're expected to be and do.
The actress. Wren puts her career over everything, with perhaps the sole exception of her family. She is opportunistic and incredibly passionate about her craft—if she sees any opportunities that results in her favor, she will take it, regardless of the consequences. Almost every action she takes is done in order to advance her career and maintain her status. Her strict diet and workouts, her acting sessions, her hours of research; they're all to improve herself. Wren also strives to live by her fans expectations, which means she often conforms to what they've projected her as: the fashionable actress with the natural charm, unable to do wrong with her quirky sense of humor and moments of ditziness. They put her on a pedestal that she can't climb down from, and at the same time it takes incredible amount of effort to stay there.
The princess. To those who know her only through tabloids, Wren is nothing more than the superficial daughter of a Hollywood star who gets what she wants with a snap of a finger. While there is some truth to their claim—having her parents' money literally meant she could afford whatever she wanted—she does work hard for the immaterial things she wants. Fashion-conscious and particular with her appearance, her dedication to her craft is also mistranslated as shallow self-absorption. It doesn't help that she likes to obfuscate stupidity. These sorts of people tend to value her beauty over her brains anyway, so she more readily flaunts the former. If people relegate her to the stereotypical airhead, then good. It only plays to her advantage when people underestimate her intelligence.
The overachiever. Only her close friends know how Wren truly is. She's smart, though not in the genius level many of the Caelbury students are, and resourceful. Whenever she gets a new role to play, she delves into really deep research about the character to make it authentic. She's passionate and devoted to whatever she commits to, sometimes to an unhealthy degree as she is prone to overexerting herself and excessively stressing. Without the armor of courtesies she has to put up for the press, Wren is this frank overachiever who likes to be in control. She honestly likes that there are people who look up to her, or that she can win people over with a honey-laced smile and a bat of an eyelash. When she doesn't have to censor herself, she is brutally honest and quite snarky. And on the flipside, self-assured Wren is also a hopeless romantic with surprisingly little experience with real (not reel) relationships. It doesn't take much to fluster her, and she has embarrassingly pure notions about romance.
♔ History ♔The Sinclair family is a juggernaut in the entertainment industry. They have been a dominant presence since the dawn of the television era, but even more so after the marriage of current Synklar Studios president and COO Peter Sinclair and movie legend Gwyneth Kingsley. The Kingsleys had produced quite a good number of award-winning actors back in the day, but it was Gwyneth that had been most buzzed about after a particularly iconic role. Unlike most business-minded families, the Sinclair family was quite tight-knit. Peter and Gwyneth were never absent parental figures, and was instead a constant supportive presence in their children's lives. As public figures, they're constantly involved in some sort of scandal (alleged hiring collusion, trademark infringements, or even affairs!) but they managed to weather through them all together.
Catherine is the youngest of three, the only daughter and the third wheel to her identical twin brothers. Despite having a gap of five years in between them, she and her brothers were fairly close as children, and they openly doted on her. It wasn't until they graduated from Caelbury that they started drifting apart. Her older brothers have both followed in the footsteps of their father, favoring the business world and its complex economic mumbo jumbo that she doesn't pretend to know anything about. But the Kingsley blood was strong in Wren. Her brothers were born to inherit her father's business; she was born to be a performer.
Wren started out auditioning for role quite early, before she could even talk properly. Having two famous names attached to her undeniably made breaching into the industry easier than it would have been, and it was a shadow that she was stuck under. For a while they treated her specially, earning the disdain of her peers, and the only name she was known as was "Gwyneth Kingsley's daughter." Tabloids were harsh on her when she first started out, calling out nepotism at every turn, especially after she had gotten her first major movie role at only seven years old. They decried her abilities and predicted that she could never get anywhere without her mother's name.
All their allegations only spurned Wren to do even better. She's nothing if not determined, and she worked hard to erase any doubts that lingered about her abilities, proving them wrong by getting role after role in what would be critically-acclaimed movies. She didn't always get a major part, but her performance was always praised. By the time she was twelve, she'd proven her staying power.
Her mother was naturally very supportive of her daughter's career, but her overprotective father wasn't as keen. He feared she would succumb to the child star syndrome that seemed to be common among children that start out too early, so he laid out strict ground rules for her. If she wanted to continue pursuing a career in showbiz, then she would have to attend Caelbury Academy for all four years. The prestigious academy was known for churning out exceptionally successful students that rise above all else in the world. Her father hoped that the strict institution would keep in Wren in line, or even sway her to follow in the family business.
Wren didn't object. She had never been to a proper school before, but she had always wanted to experience it. Besides, there were more important things she concerned herself with. While doubters and critics were no longer a persistent problem, a bigger and scarier adversary loomed: expectations. Now that she had established a name for herself, she had to incessantly work on maintaining it. One small mistake would send the media abuzz about the rising star's misstep and it would be enough to ruin her reputation. And with school added on her plate, she now has to balance schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and her daily acting practices and research. It's impossible not to get overwhelmed.
For the first time in her life, Wren's losing control and she doesn't know what to do to fix it.

› Wren can be a bit method. After playing a tech-genius in one movie, she had spent a few days obsessing over learning how to program. And, more infamously, after playing a British character, she had been stuck with her accent for a few weeks. Some of her fans were even starting to question whether she was actually British or not.
