Ali' listened to the girls explanation of how her magic functioned. So far, so cool. She seemed good with her hands, chances are she could shuffle cards in her sleep. Maybe she played poker in her spare time? Well, dumb thoughts aside, she seemed even more versatile than he was. Which honestly, kinda scared Ali'. [i] Looks like the show is about to start[/i] he thought to himself as she drew her two cards. Alistair was beginning to feel excited, still scared, but excited as well.

So, first she summoned a...katana? Now that wasn't too exciting, if anything that seemed like quite the weak spell. Or, maybe it had some magical properties? Alistair didn't dwell on it for too long because she just about discarded it when she drew her second card. Turns out Ali's guess was slightly true? Or maybe her second card could use any weapon as a medium. 

All he knew is that when she had finished talking, she let out such a magnificent attack it was almost as if an angel was attacking instead of her. He swore he could even see the outline of wings and a halo around her when she used it, or maybe it was just his brain acting up. Whatever it was, Ali' was [i]thoroughly[/i] impressed.[i] So this is what other magicians could do.[/i] A wide, shit-eating grin spread across Ali's face. His legs trembled in excitement and he couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
