After combining our efforts at keeping the Arcanine at bay, we were finally able to fell him as we began to do another head count. "Yeah, thanks all of you." I said, following Spruce's move to thank everyone currently with us. I was still wondering what was to become of the rest of our group, stretching and yawning after that fight. I was surprised when Spruce managed to actually get a call on his badge - mainly because my badge was worn and probably broken from a short circuit. I could probably fix that by sending enough voltage through it, though now wasn't exactly the time to do so. Actually... why is that Arcanine still alive and kicking? I thought I just saw him... Oh no. This forest was starting to play on our minds, as if it already hadn't done that. My dark thoughts were now replaced by false ones... which may say more about me than what I'd like to admit. Oh well, so long as I don't mention my thoughts any longer... "I think it's time we start leaving, 'cause we're gonna get swarmed by these psychopaths!" Sure enough, that Arcanine was so crazy that he started fighting his own mind. Oh, if only we had a psychic around to calm these things down... no matter, simply beating them into submission was good enough. "Woah, Arceus!" I didn't know what it was, but I clearly feel from the rush of air that something BIG was going to impact me. I turned around to see Anthony falling on his face while a huge blob of water knocked me down onto the snow. "Oh, for..." Thankfully I was able to recover from that, but I was facing off against a... Barboach, whatever it was called. But, here's the scary part: that thing's immune to most of my attacks. "Guys, I would appreciate some backup here, please!" All I could do was start slimming down and stretch once more, this time so that I'd have a chance to dodge a majority of his attacks.
