Eric Fenris "Wolf"
I continued to lay in my bed as I listened to Captain Chris talk about how he's not like the other officers. I was sure I would have gotten an ass chewing for my "Pink-Haired Princess" comment. Almost disappointing not getting one. I had already come up with a ton of things to fire back with in preparation for an ass chewing. Eh, I'll save it for the next one I get. Petting Lea's head and smoking my cigar I turn to look at the Captain as he spoke about being in the mud. "Ain't you part of Rebirth like the rest of these people?" I ask, trying to figure out why he had scars. "Thought you were supposed to be all pretty and clean every time you came back alive," I said, more to myself than to the Captain. Then came the comment about looking like a popsicle. That one made me laugh so hard I almost spit out my cigar. Almost though,I wouldn't be caught dead wasting a cigar this good. "You mind if I use that one in the future? I know a few officers ho fit the description pretty good. That jack-hole Sharp among them," I say through small fits of laughter. Once I calmed down a bit and was able to take another drag from my cigar I looked down at Lea, who was curled up next to me, sleeping. "I found her, after a battle some years ago. I was doing an aftermath sweep, making sure there wasn't anyone left uncounted for, or an enemy still breathing. Well as I was looking through the burned out ruins of a building that had been hit by a bomber I heard something. Turned out to be this little gal, huddled around the body of her mother. So I took her in, much to my commander's distaste, but he relented once I threatened him with a bullet between his eyes." I left out the part about how she helped keep the nightmares away, and thus why she was allowed on this mission.
