Since you're the only person with a Created Vampire so far I might as well go ahead and say that since Rosa Claire is on a different demential plane than regular Earth the Sun effects Vampires very differently at Rosa Claire. Even young created Vampires can venture out into the sunlight on this plane, that's why it was chosen for the school. It also nulls any connects between Sire and Childe. I thought that might be helpful to know for you at least.
