Charlie ordered two steaks, one for her and one for Lucien then returned to the table. She sat, trying to wait patiently for him to return.

Roy looked as Lucien walked by then looked in the room at Scout and Keena. "You two alright?" he asked.

"Just fine, neighbor. Just fine." Lucien replied simply, then went down. Upon returning to his table, he discovered Charlie and two plates of food. He blinked, then sat down again. "My apologies for my rather sudden disappearance. I thought I would take the opportunity to finish up that business I mentioned earlier." Lucien apologized sincerely.

Roy nodded then returned down stairs. After getting another drink from the bar he returned to the fire place. "Can I buy you a drink?" He asked the woman sitting there.

Charlie smiled as she looked up at Lucien. "You've gotta do what you've gotta do." She shrugged and gestured for him to sit. "I got us something to go with the red wine." She said referring to the steaks.

Laura nodded her head. "Oh, gotcha. I honestly don't know anything about this place. But it's nice." She said looking around.

Roy glanced down at the floor awkwardly then back up at Ethelsen. "Because pretty women deserve to have drinks bought for them." He said, his voice low and his eyes sincere. With a stray hand he awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

Charlie watched him carefully. "Oh I just wanted us to be able to enjoy each other's company. One of the best ways to do so is over a meal." She remarked.

"Ah yes, very true." Lucien concurred, refilling his glass, then offering her some. "Oh, and by the way; If at any time you go upstairs to sleep, stay out of the third room on the left. And ignore any funny smells that come from that room as well." He advised.

Scout sat down next to Barrett again, grumbling something about rapists and show offs.

Roy chuckled. "I guess you caught me weakness." He half joked. "What can I get you?" He asked her.

Laura looked over at Scout and Keena, worried about what had happened.

Charlie held her glass out and giggled. "The smell of dead bodies no longer bother me." she remarked. After her glass was filled she sat it down and cut into her medium rare steak.

Keenan sat quietly at Scout's other side, absently swinging her legs on the stool, since she was too short for her feet to touch the ground.

One of the twins poured a glass of something that looked suspiciously like a glass of light-colored beer and slid it across to her.
She looked at it for a moment with uncomprehending eyes. "Uh...I don't drink..." She said.

"It's apple cider. Handie said you like it." One of the twins said.

She blinked. "Oh."

"We thought it might make you feel better." The other one explained.

"Thanks,"

They went back to washing dishes, and Keenan stared into the glass for a moment before taking a sip.

Lucien inclined his head. "Then we have something in common." He replied, not hesitating to eat, thin as he was. It was obvious that he spent too much time exercising and not enough time feeding himself.

Scout seemed to relax when he saw Keenan ddrinking, letting out a sigh and hugging her to his side. "Hey, you okay?". He asked, mumbling into her hair.

" something warm.". Ethelsen said after some thought, uncrossing her legs now to prop them up on the table across from her. "Whatever you're having?"

Charlie minded proper table educate as she ate. "I hope steak is alright. It's always been one of my favorites." She said politely. Her more calm and sophisticated side was showing through, it seemed odd to her. As most in the tavern were probably already aware she tended to be quite casual and blunt.

Roy nodded and went to the bar. He ordered two lattes with baylee's irish cream in them. Then he returned to the fireplace. "I hope you like it." He said handing it to her then taking a seat. "I'm Roy by the way." He introduced.

Keenan gave him a small smile and leaned her head against him. "Just a bit shaken up, but I'm okay otherwise." She replied quietly. "Maybe I shouldn't go looking for things to do when I'm bored." She said, attempting a joke.

"The only thing I won't eat is food that's poisoned." Lucien replied to Charlie between bites, smirking slightly. "I have a bit of an intolerance for poison, you see."

"Interesting, I've never had one of these before,". Mused Ethelsen as she thanked him for the drink and examined it. " a pleasure to meet you Roy. I am called Ethelsen Trueflight.". She touched a closed fist to her forehead then to her shoulder, a greeting from where she hailed.

"Maybe not". Agreed Scout with a small smile, giving her a light kiss
