Scout rolled his eyes at her and whatever happened next was obscured from the rp when Thorned walked by and shut the door.

Charlie hung back while Keena made her grand entrance. As quietly and unpronounced as possible Charlie snuck down the stairs and to the bar. "Could I please get a glass of water?" she asked in a soft voice and with a polite smile.

Roy glanced back as what he had assumed to have earlier been a boy came down the stairs. A confused look briefly swept across his face before he shook it off. "This is my first time as well. I'm beginning to wonder what kind of strange place this is." he said.

Laura smiled at Scout and Keena, but as their encounter became more intimate she shook her head and turned away. Taking a seat she leaned forward on the bar. "He's as eager as my old customers." she mumbled to herself.

"Well, that certainly got interesting rather quickly." Lucien noted as he headed up to the bar to return the wine bottle.

The twins both blinked at him wordlessly before taking the bottle and putting it away. Then one of them handed a glass of water to Charlie.

"Hes been gross ever since they started dating". Sighed Barrett, turning back to the bar and fetching himself a drink.

"Some sort of, really odd tavern.". Ethelsen offered as explanation to Roy,still finding things to loud for her liking.

Charlie gave the twin a head nod then took her water and turned to head back up stairs.

Laura smiled. "still, it's sweet they have each other. After all, aren't we all looking for that one person?" she said.

Roy chuckled. "I suppose so." he found her explanation amusingly simple, but it was true so there was no arguing.

"Mhm". Ethelsen nodded before frowning the rst of her drink and setting the e.Pty glass on the table she had her feet propped up on.

" yeah I guess, it just gets annoying sometimes. Especially in the field". Barrett explained. "That and the fact he's like 9 years older then her,"

Once more, the door to the bar opened, and heavy, booted footfalls could be heard entering. They belonged to a giant, taller even than Roy by at least a head, if not more. He wore heavy plate armor, which covered his whole body. Not a sliver of skin could be seen. From his shoulders hung a long cloak made of a thick material, on the back of which was a large symbol dyed red, though was faded. At both sides of his belt hung an enormous sword, one for each hand, and his helmet was adorned with two, ugly, twisted horns. He stood in the doorway for a moment, grandly looking about the room, then took one step inside to let the door click shut behind him.

He approached the bar, looking down at the four people who sat around it, before turning his attention to the twins, who were staring at him with slightly widened eyes.
"Coffee. Now." Came the stranger's baritone voice.

"Oh look, another big guy for Scout to pick a fight with. joy! I need to get some betting money". chuckled Barrett into his glass, talking to Laura. " you bet?"

The big man turned to look at Barrett. "In a fight against me, your friend would die." He said bluntly.

Barrett just shrugged, not really compelled to argue with the man and instead made himself more comfortable in his chair.

"Is this just a place for people to pick fights and sleep with one another?" Sighed Ethelsen, crossing her legs again looking around with a sigh.

"To answer you, mortal, there is in fact more than that. This is also a place to be trapped inside." The strange, armored man replied to Ethel. "If you'll notice, all the doors and windows that lead to the outsides are sealed by some kind of force. I have not yet determined what the force is." He said informatively.

"It was a rhetorical question." Bristled Ethelsen, scowling at the large man before easing back in her seat and hugging her empty cup to her chest with both arms.

Scout was ushered downstairs by an impatient Thorn and found his way over to join Barrett at the bar. He was rather dishelved now, his hair sticking up at a few odd angles and his shirt rumpled and untucked. After taking a seat he tucked it back into his pants and synched up the belt again, seeming a bit more relaxed now and going a full five minutes without elbowing Barrett in the ribs that just asked for a fight.

"Thank you." The strange armored guy replied to the twins, who gave him his coffee. He turned and stood against one wall as he held the cup.

A few minutes, and Keenan came downstairs fully dressed and somehow dishevel-free. She sat on the stool on Scout's other side, then yawned. She sniffed, then turned to look at the stranger. She quickly turned and looked at the twins. "You never said you had coffee!" She hissed at them.

They shrugged.
