Viral didn’t know how this might feel but he was going to try it at least in hope that he might be able to recover from this illness. He needed to trust Vegeta with his health for today and if anything went wrong it was also going to be his fault. Finding his regime was going to come down to his ability to lift his body he could only feel a little annoyed when Vegeta had previously said they wouldn’t be doing lifting. “Hmm great, so different to what I had thought we’d be doing…” he sighed, looking away momentarily before moving away from Vegeta as preparations for the machine starting up began. While double the gravity didn’t sound like much to how some people could train, he was still very weak with a constant feeling of dread and a sore body so any pressure would be a lot to handle at this stage. Frowning, he watched as Vegeta input the command before his eyes were drawn around the room, looking around as if expecting something to jump out at him. He could feel the shift in gravity, he was pretty sensitive to that kind of change and did look down in alert mode momentarily. He didn’t like the feeling and already his heartrate was increasing much to his annoyance. Letting out a groan he stared down before looking to Vegeta. “Irritated. I never wanted to feel this heavy in anything…and my heart currently hates it. You sure this is safe…”

Kiton couldn’t help it. He wanted to be fine and not end up all locked away, but he couldn’t help but feel that. He was trying to comfort his mind and tell himself everything was going to be okay, but everything was pointing to no and he was definitely going to get in trouble for all of it. Sighing as she continued to give her reassurances, he frowned and looked back once more before being made to gasp when he almost bumped into Sasha who had made a stop, letting out a gasp when he realised it was another rebel soldier and a big one at that. Slowly backing off from the scene he froze when the alien noticed him too, raising his hands a little as he could only stare at the man in fear. Surely he was busted, but before he could even speak for himself Sasha desperately tried to instead, his eyes quickly going to her before he decided to lower his arms again.

Kiton felt pretty confused over what was going to happen now that they had been caught, almost waiting to see how the man might react given his size and probably authority over the pair of them. This was definitely pretty scary to be witnessing and slowly moving back when Sasha had ran out of excuses he could only wait for the inevitable forced walk back into incarceration; however, the sound of crying instead confused him. Looking to the man again he frowned in confusion, finding it hard to understand what had set off the man or what he was on about now. Looking to Sasha he gasped when the man decided to clasped Sasha’s shoulders after that little speech of his, staring at them before frowning at the man’s declaration. Raising his hands in protest he found it hard to say anything, seeing how this man was supposed to be better than Sasha in rank. Looking to Sasha for answers he frowned when she agreed to let him go with them, immediately walking back up to her. “Wait! Is this even wise? We’re small, we can blend in easier…but this guy’s huge! Everybody will spot him!”

Shu didn’t really have a massive understanding to why it had to be Krom and why not someone else like Aito, not to mention this whole thing was getting in the way of his own mental training so he might be normal again. He knew he had to get stronger and wanted a better understanding, but everything was against him on that and he was not doing too well in either realm. He was not strong and he had so many problems so he couldn’t help but feel what was the point of this when there were others who were much more in need of this training. It was one thing having potential, but he didn’t think he had any of that, not like his brother. Keeping fairly low to the ground he felt nervous with Krom and Takeshi arguing, feeling like he was the lowest of them all in terms of status. They were all pretty sure of themselves and talking about him didn’t make him feel all that good about himself. Frowning the entire time, he squeaked when the subject had been brought to being all about him. Everyone was so concerned with being gentle to him, but it seemed to be because of what he could turn into now that they mentioned it. Shrinking down a little more he stared down at his feet, feeling somehow ashamed of himself that it was the main subject to keep things calmer for him.

He didn’t know if he wanted to know more about why he changed, even if he was always feeling terrible for letting everything get out of hand. He was not sure if this was going to make him feel any better but he might as well listen to what Aito had to say anyway. Staring at Aito he gasped when he looked right back at him, his eyes lowering to the ground again. So it was his fault that his temper was out of control but also not his fault somehow too. That certainly confused him and when Aito paused he immediately stared at him again, worried that it was going to be something rather bad. Rubbing his hands together he stared at Aito anxiously before taking hold of his tail as if worried that it was to blame. He said because he was capable of transforming that he was susceptible to that other transformation, his anger going completely out of control in the process. Feeling confused and worried, wondering how such a thing could be helped. Sighing lightly, he looked up to Takeshi when he ruffled his hair. “S-Suffering? I-I’m okay, really…” he squeaked, lowering his head again, “I-I just…need to understand how to not be bad…”

Krom kept relatively quiet as Aito tried to explain it to them, but he wasn’t giving the whole truth. Saiyans didn’t change like Shu did and going over that was probably best, seeing how they weren’t wanting to tell Shu what he was exactly. That would probably set them both off and ruin the training potential. Looking to Takeshi and Shu once he was done he cracked his knuckles, getting ready. “Things will work out, hopefully. And unless you also cooperate, we’ll never get this done”, he spoke, sighing lightly, “Aito will be the control. Things may be a little rocky at the start, but soon we’ll be able to get that anger under control and that form under control. Takeshi if you could learn to focus when you’re angry, you’ll gain in strength pretty quickly. Now, considering how I handled your brother when you couldn’t bring him under control, what has been your method every other time? Seeing how he’s not a beast right now, or ‘small Oozaru’ or whatever…how did you get him back to normal? You wanna think about using that method next time it happens instead of panicking? Or doing what I did, I'd rather avoid you trying to do that...”

"Hopefully that is a good different. I'd hate to think this might be dull for you," Vegeta added, putting in the final commands and getting the room to begin shifting over. There was some sort of satisfaction at having a machine like this here, and he was seriously impressed by the technology; back on Earth they needed a massive power source to change the gravity in a given space, yet here it appeared to be the room itself, not some oversized converter. Maybe after they were through today he could ask how this worked, replicate it back home for their own use. The dull humming signaled that gravity was changing, and a slightly notable weight on his body told Vegeta it had worked. He barely noticed the change, yet Viral appeared rather unsettled by it. "You tell me, is your heart working because of activity, or is it strenuous? It's normal for your body to work harder in a situation like this, so it all depends on how you feel." The Beastman was keeping upright and didn't appear to be straining to remain as such, so that was a good thing. Walking over he reached out and placed two fingers right on Viral's neck, gauging his pulse for a moment before smiling slightly. "It's fairly regular despite the change, you should be fine. Seeing as you can move, why not try and do a push-up or two? See how that works for you."

Was it a good thing or a bad thing that Leto had found them? Sasha wasn't so sure either way, though of any officer they might be found by, he was probably the best to do so. So he'd be coming along with them, it was somewhat annoying yet also worked in their favor: having an officer with them should keep them from being questioned, as long as it wasn't someone higher up than Leto anyways. For that reason alone Sasha was fine with him coming along, it'd mean they could go about their business largely carefree. "Eh...? You're worried about blending in...?" she asked, "Uh... You're going to stick out a bit no matter what. There aren't really any other Frost Demons here on Uuonoe, at least none I've ever seen. But don't worry about that, most people aren't going to know who you are, and if they see you with us they'll have no reason to worry."

"She is correct, my young friend! So long as you stay at my side, none of our comrades will have any reason to fret!" Leto near shouted in agreement, throwing in an unnecessary flex for good measure, "Uuonoe is a hospitable world that welcomed me even after becoming its enemy, it is truly a home to all those who welcome it! Let us show you just how splendid this world really is!" Not just this city, there were other places as well which deserved plenty of attention. He himself had only been to one other city here, and while nowhere near as large as the Capitol, it was every bit as vibrant and welcoming. Kiton would love Uuonoe if given the chance, and Leto was all to happy to be the proverbial gateway into that experience. "Now come, let us go bask in the glory that is this wondrous world! Why... It's already like a second home to me, I can't sing its praises enough!" the Yulian continued, beginning to walk off with exaggerated gestures, "I'll show you the greatest things the city has for us!"

Takeshi couldn't think of anything to refuse Krom any further, accepting the reality that he was to be their instructor. The very thought of doing what an Elite did, after all they had done to him and his friends and family, it made his blood boil. Yet at the same time if it was Shu's only hope of getting better then he hadn't a choice, and Aito wasn't coming forth to offer to train them either. Noticing just how unnerved his little brother was becoming over all of this, Takeshi reached out and gave his hair a little ruffling, hoping to ease some nerves with that. "And we're going to do that, okay? Aito is here and Krom knows about it a little, the two of them can fix this and make you all better. Just gotta hang in there, you know? And I'll be right here the whole time." For whatever that might be worth. Before he hadn't been much insurance when it came to preventing a transformation, so his presence her now may not be worth anything at all. Fidgeting somewhat uneasily at that thought, he looked back to Krom when the guy began speaking to him again. "What did I do to calm him down...?" he asked rhetorically, frowning before averting his gaze. What had he done? Yumi had calmed Shu before last time, and he couldn't exactly recall any time before he'd explicitly been the one to calm Shu. Did he actually have no idea how to do it?

“How am I supposed to know how it’s working? All I know is I can feel it beating and it’s really not comfortable”. Viral wasn’t very confident when it was his body that was reacting to the change of gravity, but then again he was now weighing twice his usual and that would probably place a fair bit of stress on his inner workings when it was something he wasn’t used to. He did wonder if his body was going to be able to handle this or whether it was too damaged from near to no self-regeneration. He wanted to be able to do this without having to give up in the first five minutes, but it seemed his body was against such ideas. Rubbing his chest, he stared down before his eyes went to Vegeta who was giving his pulse a check, looking at him as if ready to push him away for getting so close. He would’ve liked a quick warning before he did that, even if it was for his health. When things seemed okay despite his heart having a bit of a jumping moment, the suggestion to try some push-ups being passed on for now. Sighing, he slowly went on his knees, easing into a push-up rather than going straight into it. He knew the risks and didn’t want to show off or look like he was trying to impress Vegeta by going into it too fast. The weight he was feeling was similar to having himself sitting on his shoulders, but he was still able to pull a push-up off without too much strain. “…What else since these are…not a big problem…”

Kiton didn’t really know if he was making up excuses to stop this man from coming or if he really was worried that he was going to get spotted easier, but this man was very adamant either way. He was worried that his loud behaviour was going to give them away, but that was more of an inconvenience to Sasha it seemed as she immediately turned the argument against having this guy into one centred around his own appearance; sure, his appearance was pretty obvious in a crowd but at least he didn’t tower over everyone like this guy. Letting out a groan, he looked to Leto who decided to bark out his words instead of actually speaking properly much to his annoyance. He was going to alert everyone of their presence. “Oh great then. Thanks for the reassurance”, he muttered, finding him most annoying already. His happy attitude only forced through ill feelings that related back to heroes who thought they were better than ‘lowly criminal scum’ like himself. Feeling rather annoyed he soon began to walk after Leto, giving Sasha an annoyed look as if this was her doing before looking ahead again. “What, like food and buildings and whatever? Like every city”.

Shu didn’t like how Krom was talking about him or how any of this was going, sounding like he was going to end up transforming and constantly losing control. Takeshi was probably going to be subject to a lot of this and he didn’t know how to help prevent that as if to prove Krom and Aito wrong. He had to be stronger than he thought he was, but he didn’t know how he was supposed to prove that when everyone doubted him. Squeaking when the mention of changing him back came up he looked to Takeshi hopefully, raising his shoulders before looking away again as he shuffled his feet. “Am I going to change for this…?”

Krom glanced to the kid before grunting, shrugging. “Maybe, but seeing as how your brother can’t even recall how he got you to change back, it might be a little tricky to train you under your anger”, he spoke, rubbing his chin before smirking, “The idea is to try and release both of your full potentials and unfortunately for you, your potential is when you’re an angry little monkey-boy! If you can grasp hold of that primal rage without changing then that’s great, problem is your claws and teeth are pretty effective at wounding those creatures”. He didn’t know how much more ‘monkey’-like Shu was going to get or how that aspect of him worked, seeing how Yamate was probably still trying to see himself how his little experiment went. It was a little strange how his genes switched dominance like that through his emotions, but he didn’t know how to experiment with that to see how far it could go. He’d probably get yelled at by Aito for being curious, but it wasn’t his fault that the kid was going to be harder to train than his brother. “So, either you remember how to calm him down or he’s sitting out until you remember. Not unless you want to deal with your brother before I have to knock him out again. It takes time to calm a wild animal and on the first go it just seems too risky…”

"It would be normal for your heart to work a bit harder here, that's what intensified gravity will do to your body. If we were to forgo the gravity and train as I had planned earlier then your heart would be working as well, so you'll experience that regardless." Frankly increased heart rate was just an aspect of exercise, had Viral forgotten something so simple? Yes his body may work somewhat harder now with being heavier, but he would still be able to do as he was asked. Push-ups seemed a simplistic enough exercise to begin with, the Beastman could gauge himself based off a handful of those. Watching as Viral went ahead and did the first without much strain, Vegeta smirked and crouched down, laying his arms across his knees. "They're easy then? Good, do a dozen. Then after you've done that, do a dozen crunches. We'll keep going with your training, I just want to see just how well you handle this before we get into anything serious."

So perhaps Leto wasn't the most... Discreet of people to have along, but they would be safe with him. Who cared if someone saw them? So long as he vouched for them then they would be clear, it was easy as that. Sasha certainly preferred that over having to somehow clear Kiton herself if it came to pass, even if it meant bringing along the overly-loud meat head that was the Yulian. Kiton ought to be happy he had agreed to this, it meant they weren't stuck in the compound any longer. Rolling her eyes when the Frost Demon made a snappy remark, she reached over and prodded his shoulder before making a zipping motion across her lips. "Hey... He's agreed to help you, so unless you want to get sent back to the compound I'd suggest you don't be a smart aleck."

"Oh he's fine, Sasha! He's never been to Uuonoe before, I can understand why he simply does not appreciate its majesty!" Leto interrupted, thankfully not quite yelling anymore, "You'll see my young friend, it is an exquisite world! So many different peoples live here, there's nowhere else that's quite the same! So many cultures, foods, music, even the architecture is beginning to vary. What other planet can you go to that has such diversity?" Turning around abruptly he then pointed down at Kiton, an excited gleam in his eye as he spoke. "None! That was rhetorical! Uuonoe is wholly unique because of that! You'll see, it's a wonderful place to be!" Was he trying to be a tour guide or just escort them? Sasha and Kiton may both well be a little lost at that front, because goodness only knows what Leto was doing. Inane ramblings aside he was still escorting them though, and for that much they should be grateful. Now only if he'd shut up.

"No, you won't have to change for this buddy," Takeshi said, hoping to keep Shu at least somewhat content. Krom immediately ruined that however by not only saying he could potentially change, but it could be problematic. Sure, he'd calmed Shu once or twice before, but what had he done? The only thing he could think of right now was talk to him, yet last time that had amounted to jack all. Maybe he could bribe him with something? Food maybe? Animals liked food, and his little brother kind of turned into a wild animal when he changed, right? Shame he hadn't though to bring any fruit with him though, it'd be kind of hard to bribe with food with nothing to eat. "I... Well sometimes he recognizes me, so maybe that will work...?" Takeshi offered lamely, hoping to get Shu involved with this. His kid brother needed training too, they couldn't exclude him just because there was a chance he'd change. Hell, there was a chance that the older boy himself might get mad and attack Krom too, but he wasn't seeming to care about that. "Just... Leave Shu to me if he changes, okay? I'll figure something out, and I've got the two of you guys here too, you know? It's not like I'll be completely helpless if things don't work out."

Viral was already annoyed with Vegeta, hearing him practically say he was being silly for worrying over his heart. “You’re not me, don’t get all ‘trainer’ on me!” he grunted in annoyance, “I’ve had my heart nearly fail more than once and I’m not having it happen again!” He didn’t even know why he was bothering to give Vegeta any concerns about his health if they were just going to have them dismissed for him being silly. It was really just a case of getting through the exercises then, just to show he could do it. If he could get through it all without giving up then maybe Vegeta would take his complaints a little more serious. Getting through the first two push-ups not too badly he looked to Vegeta who decided to give him even more, giving him an angry look before going ahead with the extra push-ups. There was a little bit of strain behind it and his heart was always on his mind with the thought of mortality not too far behind him. Feeling a slight strain on the last few he soon stopped and rolled over onto his back, starting his crunches. “…You know, I don’t know why you’re not doing this too…”

Kiton wasn’t going to let Sasha or him get in trouble for this if this guy was coming along, seeing how he could blame this guy instead who was highly encouraging it. He didn’t see a problem with saying it was this guy who wanted to take him out. Looking over to Sasha when she gave him a prod he frowned before letting out a sigh, shaking his head. He could be one if he wanted to be, seeing how he was being forced into everything despite his caution. Looking up to Leto he stared at him as he decided to name off whatever Uunoue had to offer he just felt confused, gasping when he suddenly pointed at him. Looking to his finger he frowned, letting out a sigh and waving his hand. “Have you ever been to a space station? The places are full of different aliens, even space ports are full of different things like that. It’s no big deal”, he sighed, looking away, “You don’t need to be living on a planet to see stuff like that. What’s the big deal about that?”

Krom wasn’t wanting to have Shu change into a monster while they were training only to have him be unable to change back. If they were going to use their anger to bring out their potential then Shu changing would only make things worse. Staring at Takeshi as he tried to offer what he could as an answer he folded his arms, hardly looking impressed. “And you’re expected to do that in the heat of battle if he turns on you?” he asked him before sighing, “You two need to learn how to work in harmony if you’re going to be great warriors, you know”. Hearing Takeshi offer to take responsibility for the kid he grinned, quite happy to hand the responsibilities of the kid completely to him. “Good. The thing is, we’ll only assist if you lose control. You understand? Unless you’re in mortal danger, I suppose. Now, are you and your brother prepared for this even after all of these precautions? You will be challenged and you will feel pain. I’ll be addressing your friends too whenever you’re not being trained until Shu has some level of control, even if we have to resort to more desperate measures…”

Vegeta put his hands up in a defensive gesture when Viral got angry with him, only having stated the obvious. Being concerned over increased heart rate was a bit foolish when exercising, that was generally supposed to happen. There would be far more cause for concern if Viral's heart didn't work harder for it. "Viral, you'll become short of breath and weaker long before your heart gives out. I'm not trying to cause you harm, so if that happens then say something and we'll stop immediately." Until then however he intended to proceed with these regiments as scheduled. Prompting Viral to test himself, he got through near a dozen or so push-ups easily enough, promptly going about doing the crunches as well. "Hm? You want me to join you?" Vegeta asked, frowning before getting down on his knees, "I can do that if you'd prefer, though I fail to see the point in it." He was in good health, this wasn't exactly going to be difficult for him. Mimicking Viral he sat down before beginning his own crunches, trying to keep pace with the Beastman as not to annoy him. "After this, a few good squats would do well, to help get the blood circulating. Then a couple of dips, and after that we'll pause and see how you're fairing."

"The fact that the people here are good people?" Sasha interjected, glancing over at Kiton with a frown, "Or that this is their home? Space stations are known for having a diverse population, sure. But it's also known to harbor a lot of criminals, and a lot of shady business dealings. It's why the Galactic Police are always hanging around them, they're basically a cesspool for ill-will." Then, changing her demeanor she smiled slightly, reaching out and placing a hand on Kiton's shoulder. "And I'm not saying you're one of those people, before you get ahead of yourself. I've been to plenty of those stations and I've seen the kind of people who hang around there. From what I'm told, since this war started it seems like less and less people are willing to risk traveling to go there. Now it's mostly folks with nothing good in mind that make the journey. That's the difference, if I had to name one. The space stations are dangerous, but Uuonoe is... Well it's like a home. People here will give you the shirt off their backs if you needed it, you only have to ask. They've been through a lot too, if you couldn't tell, yet this planet has always remained friendly and welcoming. That's the big deal, I suppose. No matter who you are or where you're from, Uuonoe can be your home." No surprise that as soon as she'd finished saying that, Leto began blubbering like an oversized fool. Giving an annoyed sigh she glanced over at the Yulian, crossing her arms testily. "Honestly... Do you ever NOT cry over something?"

"Tch... I didn't say it was foolproof! You asked what I had done before, and I answered!" Takeshi snapped, huffing and turning his head away as Krom went on. He knew how ridiculous that was, but there was no other way he had of helping Shu. Harmony? So like Kai and Choi then, but could they really be that in-sync? The twins could seem to talk without talking and always knew what the other was doing to do, but for him and Shu they might as well be total strangers. Not only that but they had two totally different styles of fighting, how were they supposed to be in harmony like that? He didn't see this being possible, but nonetheless he accepted to take charge of his brother, for better or worse. That fact made Krom happy for whatever reason, and Takeshi shot him an annoyed side-glance when he spoke. "Of course we're ready, and I know that. I can take whatever you can give us, and I'll help Shu deal with it too. Help Shu first, our friends can wait." It sounded a bit mean saying that, but Shu did need help more than they did. All the others had to gain was becoming stronger, none of them were at risk of going rampant if they didn't get trained.

Just what was Krom intending to do here? Getting Shu to control his anger was going to be difficult, no doubt about that, but was violence absolutely necessary? The way the Elite made it sound they were going to be going through torturous regiments, and Aito failed to see the benefit in doing so. Wouldn't harming or provoking Shu only further exacerbate this? Takeshi was trying to play his part and rise to the challenge, yet he likely had no idea what they were about to go through. Could the boys even handle this? "Takeshi, everyone must be trained to prepare, we cannot solely focus on you two," the doctor said, frowning as he glanced then at Krom, "That being said... The others can likely just be told what to do and be left at that, they don't require constant supervision. If you can spend more time on these two then all the better." It was difficult to say without getting some measurements, but Aito was almost beginning to wonder just how powerful these boys might become. Given their heritage, a Super Saiyan, and their genetics, could they be the strongest children here? Even the strongest warriors? Vegeta was born of the same thing, yet the doctor didn't know how himself and Yamate compared in terms of power. There was a very real possibility that their best hope in this war was standing right before him, so all the more reason to devote more time to them than anyone else. "Shu, Takeshi... Understand that what is being done here is to ensure everyone's safety in what's to come. Please try to go along with what Krom asks of you, and remember I'll be here to help if it's needed."

It was no use trying to talk to Vegeta about anything, he was just going to get a load of crap back from him. Even after he mentioned that, he couldn’t help but think that Vegeta would just brush it off with some excuse that it was just related to exercise. He was annoyed last time with him making complaints about lifting so much so of course he’d get all mad over this. It was just going to be the same old thing with him and if he wasn’t willing to pay much attention to his complaints then he wasn’t going to give any to him. Seeing that Vegeta was not willing to get down and do this all with him at the start he did make a complaint to get him going, eventually getting him to join in with him. The guy was of course complaining about it, but he didn’t care. Finishing off with the crunches he grumbled as he slowly rolled over, pushing himself up to standing. “…What am I to do after this, then…” he spoke, only doing a few squats before remaining crouched, “I feel fine…for now. There’s nothing in here to do dips on either”.

Kiton glanced up to Sasha before sighing, looking away. He didn’t really go to cities or singular planets for exploring unless there was a bounty there so hearing there were good people was very easy to dismiss. Glancing up to her when she dissed his kind he frowned heavily, his eyes going to her hand in a quick glance. There was nothing to say he wasn’t one of those people to them or anyone who knew of his origins over what he was like beyond that, she was just trying to not make him feel bad for insinuating everyone there was wanting to find trouble and be generally bad people on purpose. He knew what it was like to be part of that group and it was often the case that people looked down upon all of them as a collective and saw them as nothing more than a nuisance. He didn’t believe her bias and the insistence that people here were very hospitable to everyone, that kind of thing just didn’t happen.

Giving Leto an annoyed glance when he decided it was a good enough time to cry over that he sighed and looked away. “Great. I’m sure that all sounded so sweet to the likes of you, but just because you people had nice experiences it doesn’t mean much when you’re generalising everything”, he spoke quickly, throwing his arms up momentarily, “You may have seen the kind of people that hang around there, but deciding to pull me out of the ‘cesspool’ just because you know me is no better than me saying ‘all rebels are selfish socialists only concerned about twisting society into what they want, but you’re not like that at all!’ I mean, how many criminals have you spoken to? How long have you slept in the slums not knowing if you’re going to get food this week? Not everybody has the luxury of space travel to find planets like this! You’ve got to try and survive on your own, keep your wits about you while you’re driven to the desperation that the only way you can survive is by stealing, taking bounties and becoming involved in the black market!” Not knowing if they were even taking any of this in he simply sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I didn’t choose to become part of all that either. A lot of people who live as criminals can’t help it until it becomes normal for them, a survival tactic. Not everyone knows what it’s like to have no fear with the only worry on their mind being if they’re going to be hungry enough for dinner…”

Krom stared at Takeshi before looking at Shu, sighing as he contemplated how to go about doing this without the kid wetting himself or trying to tear his face off. There was a variety of ways that it could be done, but given Takeshi’s little prompts and the thought Aito would want to get involved made him have to think of a slightly softer approach. The kid was certainly very sensitive and while it would be better getting rid of that aspect he doubted anybody would want that to happen even if it would potentially make the kid stronger. Looking to Aito he scratched at his chin, sighing lightly before turning to face Shu and Takeshi, walking towards them. “You may think I’m cruel, but I’m very much the opposite of those rookies who probably tried to train you, Takeshi, by sending you out against civilians”, he spoke, stopping a few feet away, “I am not like that. I am not lazy. Saiyans do not gain strength from cruelty, we gain strength from hardship and perseverance. A strong Saiyan is one that has focus, will not let their emotions get the better of them and can instead focus their emotions and turn it into power. Now Shu, you are very…’unique’ for a Saiyan. While Takeshi will get angry and gain power, he keeps his senses. Your transformation makes controlling your senses hard and your anger out of control. I want you to still see me as Krom, second in command of the Saiyan army…like you’ve always seen me. I am not your teacher during this, I am your enemy. I want to see you attack me, try to ‘hurt’ me as much as you can. I’m after your brother and I’m going to tear him apart if I get to him”. Moving his feet he shifted into a fighting stance, staring down at Shu. “If you don’t want your brother dying, you will try and stop me as best as you can…”

Shu didn’t know why everyone was okay with this, there was no way he was supposed to be able to do this. Staring up at Krom he frowned and slowly crouched as he came closer, watching him as he spoke like a teacher and yet was forcing him into believing he was the enemy like still. He knew he was the bad guy, but a teacher was supposed to be a good person. Finding it hard to believe what he was saying he looked quickly to Takeshi before back again, frowning fearfully. So he was going to have to protect Takeshi, according to Krom. Raising his arms slowly he stared at Krom, really hoping he wasn’t actually going to try and kill Takeshi. As Krom moved into a fighting stance he squeaked, shaking on the spot before gasping when Krom decided to make a move. Having a moment where he found himself unable to move he quickly decided himself to make a sudden leap at Krom, trying to stop him from getting near Takeshi. Unfortunately it seemed harder than he thought as Krom immediately moved away from his jump, forcing Shu to turn around immediately and jump again but was immediately dodged once more. Feeling frightful, Shu jumped at Krom again this time going for the legs but Krom simply jumped up, kicking Shu in the back and causing him to fall on his face.

Vegeta saw no point in partaking in the exercise himself, yet figured for Viral's benefit he might as well. Since the push-ups were already over with he began with the crunches, keeping pace with his brother easily as they went through the paces. That exercise didn't last terribly long, and with nothing to help them do the dips, they had to reconsider their next step. Glancing up at the Beastman as he stood, Vegeta thought for a moment before pointing across the room. "Run from the far wall to the other and back, do that half a dozen times, back and forth," he explained, still sitting as he spoke, "You've got some good strength still despite what you may think, you weren't struggling at all even with twice this planet's gravity. So it's time to see whether or not your stamina is still there." Should he join Viral for this one as well? He could likely move faster, unless the Beastman was slated to surprise him. Slowly standing up himself, he placed his hands into his pockets and leisurely walked to the far wall, standing by patiently as he waited for Viral to begin. "I can either run with you as a competitor, or I can follow you and just keep an eye on you, to make certain nothing goes wrong. Your choice."

Leto hadn't expected Kiton to freak out like that, certainly not to the extent he had. Watching in surprise as the Frost Demon went off shouting, letting him get it all out before saying anything more. Furrowing his brow at the question, the Yulian remained silent a while longer before letting out a long winded sigh. "I've never lived like that, you're right. And I understand that it's a matter of survival for some, and not every criminal is a criminal by choice. I understand that it must have been horribly difficult, and that you were forced to do things that you might otherwise never do," Leto spoke, looking back and stopping again, holding a fist out to Kiton. "But that life is behind you now my young friend! Embrace the sanctity that the rebellion can offer, and welcome these people as you might your brothers and sisters! You no longer have to resort to such extremes, your life will become better if you just let us help." Uuonoe, the rebels, there were plenty of people around who could change Kiton's life for the better. Even if he had trust issues he'd have to overcome those, otherwise he'd never be able to leave that old life behind.

Maybe Leto's impassioned speech wasn't quite how Sasha would have gone about that, but he was right. If Kiton agreed to join them, or even the Princes, he was in line for a far better, more lawful life. "What if we can prove that you're not a criminal here? If we find someone, or a lot of people even who are friendly to you, then would you believe that Uuonoe is different? That it can be a home?" She had been taken in by these people and while she did miss her home, it was as close to a replacement as she'd ever find. These people, those in the rebellion, they were her family now, and she couldn't be happier for that. There was no telling what sort of life she and Ricken would have led if not for Korian and Sayomi, if any at all, there was no end to their gratitude. "I know it seems like it's impossible now, but there are really good people here. Even if you don't plan on staying, they'll help you however they can before you go. That's part of the reason why this war is just so wrong, these kind of people shouldn't ever be forced into fighting." All the more reason to fight alongside the rebels, to bring peace back to her adoptive home world.

"I never attacked civilians, don't be stupid..." Takeshi grumbled, glowering at Krom as he continued to speak. Sure, he'd fought plenty of weak opponents while serving his father, but he'd tried not to hurt them. How could he possibly leave them be though when Shu's well-being was on the line? He'd tried making people submit or agree to surrender, yet no one ever wanted to. Knowing just how bad things were under the Saiyans he could almost understand why, yet his hand had been forced. Still... Were those other lives worth ruining for the sake of just his brother's? He didn't know then, and Krom's prompt made him realize he still didn't know now. Shocked when he heard Krom's idea of training, Takeshi looked over at Shu worriedly before the Elite, already not thrilled with this plan. "You can't be serious, that's ridiculous!" he shouted, gasping when Shu jumped at Krom to try and fight him. This wasn't good, how was scaring Shu supposed to help him? "Shu, no! I'm fine, don't!" The little guy couldn't even touch him, he was jumping all around and missing every time. Takeshi wasn't going to interfere until his brother was hit, getting kicked into the ground rather roughly and slamming his face down. Gritting his teeth angrily, the older boy rushed in this time, trying to punch Krom square upside the head and keep him away from Shu.

Viral was already feeling pretty tired and really wanted to get this over with and luckily it didn’t seem like things were going to get much worse. The warm up was always the worst part and now that he had got through it he was feeling confident he could get through the rest of the day without getting too angry at Vegeta or collapsing. It was harder to remain focused and hoped he wasn’t going to fall over the longer he remained in the same position. Slowly standing up again he stared at Vegeta as he gave further instructions, looking around the room before letting out a sigh. Running was something he was good at and he knew he was very fast, but he wasn’t sure how he might do with this. He kind of pushed himself through that warm up and running was going to need a little more effort. “Running…to the far wall and back a dozen times?” he repeated, looking to Vegeta, “I don’t want you competing with me, I don’t want you running behind me either. Running with me, if you’re going to do that, would work better. I don’t want to end up pouncing on you because I lose my mind”.

Kiton was not happy with them being so bias towards people like him, trying to make them out to be basic scum and people who were better off wiped off the entire plane of existence. It was depressing and degrading, it was telling him they were proud to be above them and happy to see them as common dirt that was a problem to the rest of society. While they were sort of right by that, what they weren’t right about was making them out to be lower than other lifeforms. Looking to Leto who decided to butt in with his own say he stared at him, almost sounding like he was starting to understand where he was coming from before he ended up jumping and raising his hands as Leto raised a fist. While he wasn’t going to end up getting punched by the looks of it he frowned and lowered his again, letting out a sigh. “’Brothers and sisters’…hmm, that’s pretty ridiculous and over the top. I don’t see how my life would become better upon placing myself into the servitude of someone else…”

Kiton wasn’t convinced, seeing how he had his freedom before even if it meant having to run from the authorities for a long time. He did want to be free, but so far Leto and Sasha were trying to recruit him into some sort of army by trying to convince him it’d be like having family. He didn’t really know what family was apart from his father, but he was long gone and didn’t really impact on his life very much. Probably missing the point that they were trying to make he looked to Sasha who attempted to make a deal with him, frowning at her before looking around. “Hm, I’ve never had a home to know what it’s like”, he spoke before pausing, letting out a sigh, “…Well, I had my ship, but that’s gone now”. He still felt pretty lost without his ship considering it was what he spent the most time taking care of before the crash. He knew he crashed it on purpose, but it was a last ditch effort to save himself from those creatures to which it didn’t even kill. “Even if there’s good people here, what’s to say this isn’t just an isolated incident? People can’t normally be nice all the time. What if they’re just being nice because they know you guys are nearby and can kill them if they so much as frown and lower the reputation of the place?”

Krom thought it was best to try and work up the kid first and see if he could find strength through frustration, seeing how they were trying to avoid getting him angry just now. Frustration could boost his strength, but he would need to get over his fear first. Playing around with the kid at first he was soon trying to find a way to make him feel more determined to stop him, kicking him to the ground before turning around. “Don’t listen to him! His life is in danger and you have to prevent that!” Just when he thought Shu was getting into the groove of things he felt a small rush coming towards him, turning around only for Takeshi to punch him in the head. “Agh! What the hell do you think you’re doing??” he gasped, spinning and throwing a punch at Takeshi, “You wanted him trained so I’m doing him first! Would you let the kid have a chance??”

Shu was dazed after the kick but feeling okay, slowly sitting up again with his hands on his head before turning around, seeing Takeshi going after Krom. Gasping, he struggled up to his feet and started to panic, seeing Takeshi get involved when he was doing okay trying to catch Krom to stop him from getting to him. With Takeshi right up in Krom’s face he immediately got scared, making a leap at Krom and managing to grab at his leg before punching at it. “No! Don’t get Takeshi!”

The exercises being assigned now were hardly strenuous, yet it was nice all the same to see Viral coping with them well. Being inactive as he had been for some time, coupled with his degenerating condition, there was some question as to whether he could handle even this much. With any concerns sufficiently quelled for now, they could perhaps focus on making some serious strides in his well-being now. With a lack of any equipment on hand they would have to make due with just themselves, which unfortunately meant a third of the exercises Vegeta had considered were now impossible to do. Simple sprints between one end of the room and the other however ought to be perfectly doable, and with luck Viral would have no issues in doing them. "So we'll run side by side? Fair enough, I see no problem with that," he agreed, nodding slightly before moving up against the wall. With his left heel pressed flush against the matted surface he leaned forward slightly, waiting for Viral to assume a similar position to begin. "A dozen times, six each way, perfectly reasonable I think. We'll go at your pace, and don't feel the need to try finishing in record time, this is not a race." No sense in straining and causing injury, there was more exercising to be done.

"You wouldn't be in servitude. It's not like we're forced into doing what we do," Sasha explained, "We do it because we want to. We believe in what we're fighting for, and we'd do whatever we can to make it a reality. In fact, the only thing I've ever been forced to do is retreat, and for good reason." Did it really come across as their being helpless soldiers or servants? You could join the rebellion of your own will, and leave if you wanted, plain and simple. Of course if you left and became an enemy then there'd not be any mercy just because you were a former ally; an enemy was an enemy, and for the welfare of everyone else, enemies had to be dealt with one way or another. Shaking her head at Kiton's comments on Uuonians, Sasha let out a sigh before looking around at some of the groups still busy at work. "Uuonians have been nice to me even before I joined with the rebels, and everyone else. There are refugees here who they are nice to, former soldiers of the Saiyan military who've been tended to and cared for, despite being enemies. These people have amazing technology, but they can't fight. What they can do is help others, and they do that plenty. Believe it or not, but they are good people, and they always have been. I can prove it, if you want?"

Takeshi was fine with Shu sparring with Krom, if a bit nervous. Shu did need to train, and so long as the Elite didn't hurt his brother or do anything dirty then they would be fine. It was hard to watch the little guy basically flail about trying to hit Krom, it was like their instructor was intentionally making Shu look bad. Takeshi wasn't going to interfere though, not up until his brother was kicked into the ground rather harshly. As so many times before he snapped seeing Shu be struck, rushing in without missing a beat and landing a punch square on Krom's head, getting him to even stumble slightly. He hadn't expected such a quick retaliation though, and in taking a punch to the face in turn he was knocked away, groaning as he bounced once and ended up on the ground, dazed and disoriented from the strike. Okay, so the jerk could hit pretty hard, he'd have to remember that from now on. He could just hear Shu shouting something about him, yet the room was kind of spinning at the moment and his head throbbed, probably best not to move just yet.

"Krom! Control yourself! You're frightening Shu, not helping him!" Aito warned, frowning as he watched the display disapprovingly. Takeshi had no business in getting involved, but he really didn't need to be borderline knocked out for it. If that hit was all it took to put Shu down then they shouldn't even bother training him, and his brother of all people ought to know that. To him, it almost appeared as though the older boy simply didn't trust his sibling to protect himself, like coming to his aid was almost compulsory. That was probably part of why Shu was so timid too, he always had someone to protect him. If a child was shielded their entire lives then they never learned to face adversity, and it almost appeared like Shu was suffering from that. Giving Takeshi just a brief glance to make sure he was okay, the doctor was relieved to see the older boy sitting up and regaining his senses. Good, now how was Shu going to fare?

Viral was sure he was ready to do more of this exercises, but he wasn’t going to put Vegeta in danger and have him pounced at, even if Vegeta would probably brag that he could hold him off no problem. He did hate it when people did that, when he showed just that little bit of worry for someone and they would just dismiss it because they were stronger. He hated being weak and was disgusted with himself for being as such, even if he was told multiple times that it wasn’t his fault. It was good that Vegeta wasn’t doing that this time though, he probably wouldn’t be able to deal with it if he started doing that in this room. Slowly moving beside Vegeta he watched him as he slowly placed his foot against the matted surface as well, watching him carefully before looking off to the other wall. “I know and I realise I can’t too, seeing how I will probably collapse”. Keeping steady for a moment he took in a deep breath, trying to find his centre of balance before he started running. Not quite sprinting or trying to push himself he found it was like running with a greater weight on his shoulders, his legs being forced down. Finding this a little distressing he simply tried to continue on, his eyes moving to his legs before he touched the wall, looking briefly to Vegeta before continuing. “I feel like I’m going to collapse already…”

Kiton wasn’t convinced, he saw getting into the military as something that would probably end up having him not like it and want to leave only to be blocked and scrutinised. It would probably be a criminal offence to leave anyway so all he’d be doing is forcing himself into servitude in exchange for not being arrested. Sasha was quick to try and deny that, but it still felt a little suspicious and he certainly did like his freedom to act, even if apparently killing was a bad thing for freedom. “But you’re forced to fight for something like this…I don’t know what the Saiyans are doing. Are they even doing terrible things? You know, other than random genocide?” Maybe that wasn’t the best way to put it but he didn’t know what the big deal was, seeing as how aliens often readily killed each other because they were different, but the Saiyans were more organised from the sound of it. These rebels probably would do it too if they didn’t know the ones they were fighting. “They could just be nice to you because of the point I made. They could be scared that something’s going to happen to them if they suddenly decide to not let your group roam around normally, then what do you do? Tell them it’s bad and that they shouldn’t or show them why they shouldn’t?”

Krom was pretty angry about Takeshi going in like that and interrupting his training of the youngest. He was the one who asked him to go first with the kid and yet here he was jumping in like he was an actual threat. Managing to give him a good smack away he told him off but was soon receiving a punching from Shu in the back of the leg, nearly making him fall over. Turning around with a glare he looked to Aito who only told him off for his actions. “Better being frightened than angry because of him!” Making a grab for Shu he found the kid had jumped to the side instead, finding he wasn’t allowing himself to get caught this time. Watching him he tried to make a grab again, finding the kid was trying to dodge everything as he threw his fists down with the intent to hit the kid away. “Oh what? Did I manage to trigger something with the kid now? Maybe you should try hitting harder!”

Shu was pretty sure he was going to have a pretty bad time with this but he was still trying, unfortunately he wasn’t really getting anywhere. Krom seemed fairly unfazed by his attacks on his leg and was definitely not showing any signs of hurting, making him wonder how strong he was or how weak he might actually be himself. Gasping when Krom tried to grab him again he immediately started bouncing around, panicking whenever Krom’s hand came down at him. He was afraid of what might happen if he got caught by Krom, but he was still trying to fight against him rather than go ahead not managing to hit him at all. Squeaking, he jumped around nearly falling over himself before immediately jumping forward with Krom’s prompt, punching at him in the stomach to no effect. Krom was definitely stronger than he thought and that scared him, pulling back immediately before Krom managed to grab hold of his shirt and lift him up, his legs kicking out before he was thrown away again.

The fact Viral was willing to do these exercises showed he was willing to work, now it was just a matter of seeing if his body could do it. Muscle atrophy and fatigue would be plaguing him by now, there was a fair chance that he'd tire even from the most mundane of tasks. "Good, I'm glad you realize as much. Whenever you're ready we'll begin." Poised to take off, Vegeta waited patiently for the Beastman to begin the run. Once they began moving he kept pace easily enough, finding they were moving at a relatively slow pace. As he'd worried, it appeared like the simple act of running was proving to take an unusually high toll on Viral; it was maybe a 50 meter run one way, 100 both ways, hardly an extremely demanding exercise. "Slow your pace then, do what feels manageable for you," Vegeta responded, not wanting the Beastman to give up already. "Even walk if that's what you feel you must do. This isn't a timed trial or anything, we're simply moving from one side of the room to the other, it doesn't matter how." If they walked now, they would run later. If they ran now, they would sprint later. Regardless they were going to improve, and however they started now was not an issue.

"Well... If 'random genocide' isn't reason enough to fight, then I don't know what is," Sasha retorted dryly, resisting the urge to snap at Kiton for that. Yes, people killed one another all the time, it was an unfortunate fact of life. But most people didn't systematically kill a whole different group, or conscript entire worlds, or destroy civilizations for getting in their way. The Saiyans took what was awful about people and amplified it a hundred times over, that was why she fought them. And again they were going on about whether the Uuonians were genuinely nice or not. Why was this even a thing? They celebrated whenever rebels came home safely, helped them willingly, helped ANYONE willingly, and took huge risks by doing so with nothing really to gain for themselves. The fact Kiton couldn't see all that for genuine kindness annoyed Sasha, and she was past her point with him. Stopping in her tracks she turned around and stared at the Frost Demon for a moment, then reached out and grabbed hold of his wrist. "Okay, you don't believe me? Fine. I'll just prove it to you!" Tugging him along with Leto following behind, she dragged Kiton over to the nearest group of Uuonians, smiling as they approached. "I'll show you these people are nice yet, just watch."

Without saying anything herself, Sasha was betting on one of the Uuonians to come over and greet them. As she'd hoped one of them did come over, though it was one of the children, not what she had expected. Toddling over to the unusual trio, the young girl immediately recognized Leto and Sasha as rebels, a wide smile crossing her face at noticing that. "Hi mister, hi miss!" she said bubbly, waving as she stood before them, "We're helping rebuild some houses, it's a lot of fun! I get to plant all the pretty flowers!" Her father, an older Uuonian, noticed the group and waved to them cheerfully before returning to his work, helping to put up a frame for a building. Seeing Kiton and not recognizing him, the girl folded her hands behind her back and skipped a bit until she stood before him, tilting her head to the side curiously. "Hi mister, who are you? Are you a friend of theirs?" she asked, and before even getting an answer she smiled again, reaching up and grabbing hold of his free hand, "Nice to meet you mister! Mommy says that we should be nice, even if things are bad right now. So I try to say hi to everyone we see, so everyone is happy!"

"Fright can lead to anger, be careful! You don't want to trigger a change!" Blasted man, he was completely missing the point. Anger was a normal response when faced with fear, to try and threaten whatever danger you faced or overcome it. If Shu were to become angry over being threatened, there was a real chance he might transform. That aside, Takeshi might not transform but there was still a risk of his going berserk, and goodness knows what might happen if that were to pass. The reality was they were dealing with two very volatile children here, and there was no knowing when or if either might be set off. Frowning as Shu was thrown aside like a doll, Aito glanced over to Takeshi and shook his head, making sure the other boy stayed put. If there was real danger to Shu then they would act, but right now this was barely a game for Krom. "Shu, you're sparring, this isn't a fight for your life. If you continue to avoid every little danger, you'll never learn," the doctor called out, loathing to be the one to try and instigate Shu into fighting. "To overcome a fear sometimes you must face it. Prove to Krom that you can handle whatever he's trying to deal to you. Show him you're stronger than he thinks you are." Show all of them that, because right now Shu was equivalent to a toddler hiding under their sheets during a thunderstorm.

Viral was really trying to get his body working again but everything was just starting to get painful all over again. He wasn’t able to concentrate on ignoring the problems he was facing and was just finding himself unable to focus on completing the task at hand. It was probably incredibly simple and completely trivial over what he was complaining about, maybe even disappointing Vegeta when he literally just started. Looking to Vegeta when he suggested some alternatives to running he looked away and shook his head. “No…I can do this…” he muttered, going at the same pace he had been rather desperate to keep at. It wasn’t a pride thing he was trying to do this for, it was so he could feel he was improving and able to do a simple task. He had done the push-ups and everything, he couldn’t be getting tired already. Reaching the wall again, he reached out but found himself banging into it this time, having to take a moment before continuing again.

“Maybe…there’s reason for it? I don’t know, never asked them?” Kiton didn’t really understand what was stopping them from holding peace conferences over this to try and come to agreements over what was to be done and why the other group should stop doing this other thing. It was one of these questions in life that really had him wondering why they decided to fight like either one was the criminal here. He had seen this type of behaviour with gangs before and just like gangs these two groups were fighting over territory and people were getting in the way of it, resulting in death of innocents. Disliking the thought he gasped when she decided it was best to drag him away off towards a bunch of natives, panicking. “H-Hey! This isn’t fair!”

Kiton didn’t like being forced into things and forced into social stuff was probably the worst thing he could go through. He didn’t know how to be social and never had been before, her actions immediately raising his anxiety by quite a lot. Wanting to pull away from her he gasped when some kid decided to come over, staring at them cautiously. He knew they were just a child, but that still didn’t make him feel any more comfortable. Staring at them as they spoke he looked quickly over to the other Uuonians before feeling a jolt as his hand was grabbed, quickly looking down at it before trying to pull it away. “Uhhh don’t touch me…” he muttered, shaking his head, “I’m not anybody’s friend…”

Krom knew the risks but if he was going to see if this kid could actually fight he needed to be able to figure out what was a trigger to bring out some of that hidden power. There had to be some way that wasn’t going to have him changing, but he had to find it if he was going to get anything done today. To have Aito bark at him like some old man was making him slightly annoyed, seeing how it wasn’t as if he was trying to make him change. Having Shu jump around like he was going to get killed was a bit distracting so he had to get him out of that, throwing him off to the side to get him to start again he looked to Aito who decided to tell off Shu instead. The kid was acting pretty weak despite the power he probably had. Readying himself again he smirked, raising his hands. “Yeah, kid! You’re weak, I think you’re weak; everyone thinks you’re weak! Are you going to change that or sit around like a little baby all day??”

Shu was disorientated but not willing to give up, picking himself up and crawling around to face Krom again. While he didn’t want to quit he was panicking, finding it hard to understand how he was supposed to do this. Looking to Aito who told him off he looked to the ground momentarily before up to Krom who also started to taunt him. He didn’t know how to react to that, he was supposed to be strong but he didn’t feel like it, especially with Krom being so strong in return. Standing up again he stared at Krom, unable to figure out what he was supposed to do before he made a leap at Krom only to be slapped to the ground. Pushing himself up again he jumped once more, instead finding Krom stepping back and allowing his leap to completely miss. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do, it wasn’t as easy as sparring when he knew this guy was the bad guy. Slowly standing up again he turned around, staring at Krom again before yelling out, dashing straight for him and managing to collide with him and threw a series of punches. They were all caught by Krom and what was worse was it barely seemed like he was trying, his eyes looking up at him before he was immediately slapped aside. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do or feel, but what he really felt just now was very weak with no chance of showing any sort of hidden power or control. Not really feeling hurt by all the throwing around he slowly stood up again, looking between Krom and Aito before to Takeshi, going rather red in the face before letting out a groan, using his hair to hide his face. He was feeling incredibly embarrassed, he was supposed to be stronger than this and when Takeshi was able to fight against Krom for so long on the other planet it was really showing just how weak he actually was.

Vegeta stopped rather quickly when Viral ran into the wall, frowning at how sloppy he had become. Was he already tired? 100 meters, yet Viral looked like he was about to collapse. Extending an arm out to keep the Beastman from moving on, the Saiyan sighed before giving his brother a careful look over. "Maybe you can, but not all at once. Sit down and catch your breath, I'm going to get you some water. Wait here for a moment." That was no good, he should not have tired out that quickly. Given that Viral could fight relatively well still it was somewhat expected he could do a short distance run, yet obviously that wasn't the case. Perhaps they could try getting him to eat something now? No, they should exercise before he tried that, build up more of an appetite. Vegeta didn't have to go too far to find some water for Viral, stopping in a nearby room and finding himself a glass which he filled, hurrying it back to the Beastman's side. "Here, slowly sip this," he said, crouching down and handing it over to Viral, "We'll take a two minute break then try the second lap. In the mean time... How do your legs feel? Did they almost give out on the run?"

"If they have a reason for it then they've never come forward and told us. As far as I can tell they're just tyrants, and tyrants have no business here. And even if they do have their reasons, is this the best way to do it? To do anything? I don't care what their reasoning is, conscripting people and attacking planets isn't a solution." Like Kiton said, they were better off having some sort of conference to solve whatever the Saiyans were doing, but that would never happen. Saiyans weren't exactly known for their diplomacy, with Sayomi being a rare exception to that rule; Korian tried, but more often than not he reverted back to the usual 'I'll beat you up to make you agree', typical of Saiyans. Becoming slightly testy, both with Kiton questioning the rebels and the Uuonians, Sasha decided to make him see firsthand just how friendly the locals were. Pulling him along forcibly, she brought him to a nearby family, expecting children to be especially kind and friendly to him. A little girl came over rather quickly upon their arrival, and she seemed happy for their presence.

She had never seen someone like Kiton before, but he was with the rebels, so he had to be a good person, right? The bad people were put in jails, but this one was walking around with them. He didn't seem to be very happy to be out here though and she wondered why that might be; was it because the city was a mess? They were trying to fix it, it was just taking a little time was all. "Not anyone's friend? But mister... Everyone has friends!" the girl replied cheerfully, beaming as she gave Kiton's hand a squeeze before it slipped from her grasp, "Here, I'll show you my friend!" Racing back to her family as quick as her legs would carry her, the girl spoke with one of the adults briefly before retrieving a stuffed animal from a box. Bringing it back to the trio she looked up at Kiton happily as she held her toy up for him, a yellow creature that somewhat resembled a hippopotamus. "See? I have him, and I have a lot of other friends too! And I have friends I see in the city, and friends I go to school with!" she announced proudly. Then, in hoping to cheer Kiton up she tried to put her toy in his hand, the smile never quite leaving her face. "If you don't have friends, then take this! He can be your first friend!"

Aito hadn't exactly aimed to demean Shu, yet Krom was making it out as such. That man really was good at missing his point on these things, though at least it prompted Shu to act once more. It was hard to say that the young boy was really fighting though, only occasionally leaping at the Elite and throwing some half-hearted punches his way. It must be a serious lack of confidence, as Shu hardly seemed like he was going into this session with a lot of reservation. In a way it was almost sad to watch, knowing the boy must be trying yet not getting anywhere. The way he fought too... Why did he constantly back off and attack again? If he kept the pressure up then maybe he could get somewhere, yet he appeared to telegraph his moves as much as he possibly could. Watching as Shu was slapped aside casually by Krom, the doctor sighed silently and met Shu's uneasy gaze, not giving him anything to work off of. It pained him to just watch, but if he hoped to improve then he'd need to try and get some confidence of his own. They could say anything they wanted, but at the end of the day it fell to Shu himself to be up to the task.

"Come on Shu, kick his ass! You know you can!" Takeshi shouted, clearly not in agreement with Aito's ideas. "I know my kid brother is a fighter, now he's just gotta show me what I already know!" The little guy just really seemed like he didn't want to be here right now, even less so now that he'd gotten batted away like that. He had rarely seen Shu so utterly dejected and hopeless, it was a little too much for his liking. Frowning when his brother didn't seem to perk up any, the older boy walked over despite the doctor's protests, grabbing Shu and pulling him in for a quick hug. "Hey, why don't you take a seat and watch me buddy? I can spar for a bit, then maybe you can try what I did, you know? Get a little inspiration or something." Though if his fighting style was half as lousy as Krom made it out to be, maybe Shu ought not be copying it. Letting go of his brother, Takeshi frowned at Krom and stepped in front of Shu, determined to do as he'd sad and fight the guy now. "Give Shu a break, maybe he just needs to get ready. Train me for now old man, unless you don't want to fight me?"

Viral was really trying but it was terribly hard, his body just not feeling good enough to continue but he had the determination to continue on. It was barely anything compared to what he had been able to do, he could keep up with people flying for pete’s sake and yet looking at him now nobody would recognise him. He was not willing to give up, but even though he was willing to continue on it was Vegeta who stopped him, placing his arm in his way so he’d end up coming to a stop. Staring at him with a pained expression he let out a groan and slowly sat down, trying to be slow about it but ended up falling back in a rather pained fashion. Letting out a groan he stared at his legs, feeling disappointed in himself. Staring at himself for a moment he soon looked up at Vegeta, staring at the glass before taking hold of it, his hand slightly staking before he stared at the water. “I’ll never get up after this ‘break’…” he muttered, looking up to Vegeta, “They felt like they were going to break. I was already trying to power through those warm-ups. I can’t give up on this…”

Kiton wasn’t used to any of this and was finding it rather difficult to be polite about not wanting someone strange touching him, even if it was a little kid. He wasn’t that old himself, he was still young so having a slightly younger kid hold his hand like that had him feeling completely uncomfortable. Watch the kid run back to her family he gave Sasha an annoyed look before his eyes were taken back to the girl who quickly returned. Taking a slight step back he stared at what she had retrieved, feeling confused over it he frowned. “It’s a toy…” He didn’t really understand what she was trying to say or suggest but she seemed quick with trying to shove the toy in his hand. Gasping slightly he held it up, staring at it before looking down at her in confusion. He didn’t really understand this kind of gesture, whether he was supposed to give something back. “Uhh, I don’t have anything for this. How is a toy supposed to be a friend? It doesn’t talk or anything…”

Shu wished he was able to conquer his fears and actually try to make an effort to train with Krom, but with him barely able to touch him and easily tossed aside all he was doing was embarrassing himself. He wanted to train and get strong like everyone, he was trying but nothing was working. He must be letting everyone down with his weakness. Becoming overcome with embarrassment he attempted to hide his face, gasping when Takeshi suddenly pulled him into a hug. Looking up to him he frowned at his suggestion, sighing lightly as he looked down again. “I’m sorry, I tried…” Staring at Takeshi as he stood in front of him he slowly moved back before spinning around and running out of the way, finishing in a crouch. He should’ve been able to do something about that, there was no reason he wouldn’t had been unable to do anything to Krom.

Krom was a little disappointed to say the least, seeing the kid just plain give up like that. Even if he didn’t want to give up he was basically doing so by cowering away like that. Smirking, he watched as Takeshi tried to comfort his brother, basically putting him down unknowingly in the process. Being told subtly that you should give up for now and learn from them instead was a pretty big insult even if he meant well. Watching as Takeshi took a stance he chuckled, going into a fighting stance too. “Tch! I’m not old, not even ten years older than you, kid!” he smirked, shifting his feet, “Now, unlike your brother, you don’t need anything to prompt any hidden emotions I trust? At least you don’t turn into an angry furry beast so this’ll be easier!”

Vegeta took a seat beside Viral as he more or less collapsed, trying his best not to raise alarms over anything. If he started worrying then the Beastman may cease training, and he wanted this to try and instill some sense of accomplishment in his brother. "There's a difference between giving up and having a change of plans though. We could revisit the running aspect and do something else," he suggested, shrugging as he leaned back against the wall, "Or we can modify the current exercise. Instead of running vertically along the room, we could try laterally. Speed and distance is not the point here, it's going through the motions and working muscles that may have been unused recently." They could run in a tight circle if they so chose to, all that mattered was they ran. One thing this workout was bringing to light was Viral's increasing need for nutrition, some kind of food, any food. But he was having issue eating still, wasn't he? "Viral... How do you feel about nutrition shakes?" Vegeta asked suddenly, glancing over at the Beastman, "Or nutrition bars? Think you could eat something similar to a granola bar?"

The little girl wanted to give Kiton a friend, and she had plenty of friends! Her stuffed animals were all really nice and she loved spending time with them, but she had many, he had none. Maybe then this one could be his first friend? Smiling brightly when the Frost Demon accepted her gift, the girl placed her hands behind her back and swung a bit on the spot, watching him expectantly as he looked over the stuffed animal. "It's a present silly, you don't need to give me anything," she replied happily, giggling before pointing up at the animal, "And you pretend! And sometimes, when I'm upset, I give them a hug and it makes me feel all better! They can be fun to play with too! I like to make believe all my animals are friends, so maybe you should get some more!" Maybe if he had a whole lot of stuffed animals then he'd be happier, he'd have a ton of friends then! Hearing one of the adults calling for her, the little girl glanced back and waved before giving Kiton one last passing smile. "I hope you like it mister!" she added, giggling before running back to join her family.

"Yeah, the Uuonians seem like really awful people, don't they?" Sasha quipped sarcastically, smiling as she glanced at Kiton, "And before you say it was just a kid, everyone here would do something like that. It just happens most of the adults are busy right now. They would do something for you too if you needed it." That had been really unexpected, yet she hoped it showed the Frost Demon a little bit of what these people were all about. For someone to be so friendly to a stranger, after potentially losing their home and maybe even loved ones, it didn't speak enough about their generosity. Certain it did something to change his outlook though, Sasha placed her hands on her hips smugly and looked at him expectantly for an answer, though she was briefly distracted as Leto was once again sniffling. "So was I wrong? Or are the people here still fake and only trying to earn our trust?"

Maybe Shu just needed to really watch someone to learn to fight, then he'd be able to fight Krom better. With the way things were going right now the little guy was never going to get anywhere. Takeshi figured he'd go ahead and put himself in the session then, relieve his brother and give him a chance to relax; perhaps something he did during his turn would inspire the younger boy, or something like that. "Hey, don't be sorry buddy, you tried. And you can try again later too, you know? You'll get it," he responded, giving his sibling a hug before letting him go off. Poor kid looked crestfallen from that, he'd probably tried pretty hard to make it work too. Feeling rather badly for Shu, Takeshi turned to look at Krom, displeasure written all over his face from having to do this. "No, I don't," he replied curtly, taking his stance as he got himself ready, "But what's scarier pops? Someone gone berserk, or someone cool and collected that wants your head?" Okay so he wasn't going to kill Krom, but he sure wanted to make the guy hurt for upsetting his brother. Slowly shifting his feet as he tried to decide on how to start this, Takeshi made a dash for the left before vanishing, coming in then on the opposite side of Krom, his left, and throwing a kick around at his arm.

Shu had been put to the sidelines rather quickly, too quickly in fact. There was no chance of the boy ever making progress if he was sent away every time he began sparring, he'd never have a chance to build confidence that way. Aito wasn't going to keep Takeshi from training, yet he also wasn't going to leave Shu to just sit there and sulk. "Shu...? I have a proposal..." the doctor spoke aloud, smiling across the way at the young child, "While Takeshi spars with him, why not practice with me? If you would like to of course. I'd be more than happy to help instruct you." The chances of his doing something to trigger a transformation were far less than Krom, and he had some theories on how to either prevent or reverse a change, should it happen. Walking over to join Shu where he was, Aito smiled and extended a hand to help Shu to his feet. "I can offer advice as we train too, maybe we can find a different way for you to fight? Or how to make your style more effective. What do you say?"

Viral figured he would be fine after a little while, his body tired but should recover hopefully. He did mention he wasn’t in great shape and it would be pretty stressful on his body to go under gravity training, wondering if he probably would’ve been better training under normal conditions. Finding it oddly difficult to drink water under this gravity he slowly rubbed his chest, staring blankly at the glass as Vegeta talked before his eyes wandered over to him at the mention of doing something different. “Recently? I’ve not been sitting around doing nothing…” He didn’t know how he was going to get through this day if he could barely get through something as simple as running back and forth. It was agonising knowing he was able to do that and more when he was fine, but all because he found it difficult to eat his body had been wasting away and his genes shutting down. Staring at Vegeta as he spoke about shakes he couldn’t help but feel confused and somewhat disgusted, looking back to his water momentarily at the mention of bars instead. “The thought of shakes makes me feel sick and nutrition bars aren’t going to help me long term. I need to get back into eating what I am supposed to eat and have this stupid….fear over food…”

Kiton was trying to figure out this girl, but it was certainly not doing him any good by trying such a thing. He felt like he was trying to figure out a fairly blank slate for ulterior motives. Looking at the stuffed animal he could only wonder why she would give a complete stranger something like this without knowing a thing about him. Looking to her as she spoke he frowned, staring at her before he looked back to the toy. “Fake friends?” Finding that whole statement to be confusing he sighed lightly, staring at the toy before looking up and seeing the girl run off again. Sure it was innocent enough but it didn’t make him feel better about his opinion or ease it.

As Sasha started to get all sarcastic and smug he simply looked up at her, staring as she continued to be proud that she was holding a strong opinion. She must be feeling so good about herself over that kid doing that to him, but he couldn’t say he felt good about it at all. Sure the kid was trying to show him kindness, but it just made him feel rotten inside too. He didn’t have anything like that and it was easy to tell that she had that a lot growing up. Staring at Sasha as she held a pose he gave her a fair glare, glancing to Leto. “All kids act innocent until they’re tainted by war. That’s no secret! What do you even hope to gain by bringing me around these people for them to shove their friends, family and possessions in my face?”

Krom hardly cared for who he was supposed to fight or whether he was doing the right thing by moving onto Takeshi instead of the youngest. All this meant was they weren’t going to risk the kid transforming and them going home with claw marks all over themselves. There was a lot to work on and the more one of them showed some enthusiasm over what was happening the better. Watching Takeshi closely he smirked, finding it rather funny how much he thought he was in control of his head. “Really? That’s rather amusing considering you are the one who loses your temper the most”. Watching as Takeshi went in after him he raised his arms, watching where his energy was going before throwing up a block to keep Takeshi at bay. It was always the same with Takeshi, trying to use that trick to outsmart his opponent. “Heh, at least you could hit me, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised…”

Shu didn’t think this was a good idea for him anyway, he was sure he was just wasting people’s time by being here. He had dropped a lot from when he first found Takeshi, going from equals to too weak for training. Feeling pretty sorry for himself and completely confidence stripped he frowned when Aito mentioned his name, looking to him quickly before away again. “Practice with you…? Ooh, are you strong too…?” Shu didn’t know if he wanted to try with Aito, he didn’t know how he would treat him or if he was just feeling sorry for him being so bad at fighting. While he was not at all sure about Aito’s motives he looked to his hand when it came into view, staring at it before taking it calmly, slowly standing up with his help. Staring up at him as he spoke he frowned at first before sighing quietly, quickly nodding. “O-Okay. I don’t know how to fight any other way, though. It’s just not a good way, I guess…”

"I know you haven't been, but what you have done have been in sporadic spurts. Some physical exertion here and there isn't going to rebuild much, it has to be a constant, steady output." They needed a schedule and some sort of regiment, which was exactly what Vegeta was trying to establish today. Perhaps they wouldn't go quite as far as he had initially planned, but at least they had something to work with now. Over time too Viral's condition would improve, and as it did he could introduce more and more exercises into their plans. The proposal of having shakes was an idiotic one, and the Beastman had no issues saying as such, though he thought the protein bars to be a decent idea. "No, they won't, but the point of the bars is to just get you to eat again. Once you do that, we can slowly move up to your regular diet," Vegeta explained, heading over to the panels to shut down the system for the day, "And the fear is not stupid, it's a perfectly normal response to a traumatic event. We can overcome that though by slowly reintroducing food however, and that's honestly easier than most of your other troubles to solve." Powering down the gravity fields, Vegeta rubbed at his head a bit in disappointment, reluctant to have to do such a thing. Who knows though, maybe Viral would be willing to continue under normal conditions, exercise was still exercise.

That girl was a sweet one, and a perfect example of how kind the Uuonians could be. So maybe it was a bit of a generalization to say they were all that nice, as there were certainly some who opposed the rebels, yet one couldn't argue the beneficial relationship they and this planet's residents had. Yet even with that display it sounded like Kiton was not convinced, going as far to completely reject what he had just seen. Hearing Leto open his mouth and inhale to speak, Sasha held up a hand to silence him, giving Kiton a stern glance. "She has been tainted by war, this whole world has. They were just recently attacked too, or did you somehow not notice all the ruined buildings?" she asked in annoyance, crossing her arms and taking a slightly aggressive stance, "The point of what she just did is that even after all they've been through, they still want to help. Sure, it's a toy, it doesn't mean much to you, but it did to her. A child giving away their toy is a big deal for them, and she did it for you without a second thought." She had given him something, however insignificant it may seem, for no reason. She didn't need to do that and yet she had, that was the whole point. "Other people would offer you food, or clothes, a place to stay even if they thought you would need it. They have no reason to since you're a stranger, but they would."

Takeshi really wanted to crush Krom right about now, but he'd settle for just wiping that look off his face. He had agreed to let Shu be trained, not be made a fool of, and he took that way more personally than perhaps Shu himself had. "I can keep my cool if I have to, you'll see. I want to be in the right mind when I knock that smug look off that face of yours," he threatened, taking a stance to get ready. As always he started off by rushing right on in, wanting to more close the gap than anything. Krom blocked his attack without hesitation, no surprise there, but then he wasn't really wanting to land that anyways. "I'll do a hell of a lot more than hit you..." Reaching out he grabbed hold of one of Krom's arms, using his Ki then to push himself forward and try pulling the man off his feet, hoping to throw him down onto the ground. If it worked, he'd attempt to bring down a leg in an axe kick afterwards, hoping to catch him in the gut with it.

"I know how to fight anyways, so I can practice with you if you'll let me," Aito answered politely, smiling as he waved a hand dismissively, "Let's not worry about whether I'm strong or not, this is about you, not me." He was interested in seeing if he could help Shu, and if he could get some insight on the boy's transformation as well. Granted, he didn't want Shu to transform, but perhaps by sparring he could get a feel for how the boy reacted during a fight; if he noticed Shu getting particularly anxious, he may try talking the boy down to keep him in a good state of mind. Helping the young Saiyan boy to his feet, the doctor shrugged to himself in reply to his question, lifting a hand to scratch at his cheek. "Well then that's your style, and that's fine. But maybe I can offer some advice while we practice?" Standing upright, Aito folded one arm behind his back, holding the other out before him at an angle, his legs bending slightly as he took a fairly casual stance. "I want you to try fighting me as you were Krom, and I'll tell you what to do if I think it helps. Does that sound okay to you, Shu?"

Viral knew he had slept a lot because of Aito but he didn’t want to believe he had been weakened by the experience. He had been having to lay down because of his injections taking a lot out of him and he most certainly didn’t want to have to take another one anytime soon. Those things were rather painful after they had been injected into him, what with it messing with his insides in an attempt to stop his insides from aggressively changing. Watching Vegeta moving off to the panel he sighed, staring at him as he spoke before looking away. “Look, I just don’t think something that’s not a regular snack for me should be in my diet right now…” Those bars were always reserved for people who were confident about their eating habits and knew they needed one to prevent hunger, not really for someone in his position. He didn’t feel comfortable with eating one, knowing he might end up getting addicted if he found them to be the only thing he could eat. He thought the fear was stupid, to be prevented from taking food and simply eating it over some memories certainly sounded stupid. Unable to understand why Vegeta decided to power the room down he groaned, staring at him before looking back to his water. The giant weight had been lifted, but he didn’t feel happy about that. Slowly drinking his water again he sighed, lowering his head. “…Now I’m showing off my limit again. What is the reasoning behind me not being put through the gravity training any longer…?”

Kiton didn’t like being shown up like that and he definitely didn’t like smug stances. She had no reason to be smug, it wasn’t like she could understand what he meant or where he was coming from. She was more concerned with showing him that she was right just because they had encountered one girl who was quite willing to show him pity in the form of kindness. Glancing to Leto who first tried to speak his attention was taken back to Sasha, frowning as she spoke. What she spoke of wasn’t the same as what he meant, managing to anger him a little when she completely misunderstood what he meant. Hearing her continue to rattle on about this he glared at her, almost losing his cool before he let out a huff. “She’s not been tainted. Just because this place has seen an attack doesn’t mean she’s been tainted! She’ll recover, she’s got her family and these friends of hers; she’s not forced to use a blaster or to fight for her survival! Do you have any idea what that is like? To lose everyone and everything to war?” Feeling a little fed up he sighed, shaking his head. “Just because these alien citizens would doesn’t mean the others have the same thought process to give their possessions away to those who need it. Even then, being surrounded by these aliens who would do such things is just…distressing. There’s a constant pressure and being seen by these people as needy and a pity-case doesn’t make me feel comfortable…”

Krom thought very little of Takeshi and was fair certain they weren’t going to reach any amazing breakthroughs today, not while he was so cocky. The guy was in desperate need of a knocking down from his pedestal, otherwise there would be no way they could win a fight against the creatures if he was the type to rush in first and try to do it all himself. “The point of this isn’t to knock any look off my face. You’re supposed to see me as a suitable threat against your little brother, remember?” The kid was probably too far into his little ego rush to care about those plans and just wanted to train, but oh well. If he was going to be like that then he would have to just go along with it and have him train too. Watching Takeshi he managed to block one of his attacks but was soon grabbed, smirking as he instead tried to push him forward with a fair force. Even if he was using Ki he still wasn’t going to be able to do it and instead pulled Takeshi forward, swinging his arm around with just as much force. “Try to remember you’re up against a Saiyan Elite, not your brother!”

Shu didn’t know what to think of Aito just now, he didn’t even know if he was going to be gentle with him or try to treat him in the same way Krom treated him before this. He didn’t want to be treated like a lesser fighter, but then again with the way he was dancing around pointlessly it would be no wonder if he was treated differently. Staring at Aito after getting to his feet he frowned at the suggestion of advice, not really liking the sound of that. “Tell me what I did bad…?” Watching as Aito moved into a fighting stance he stood staring at him, frowning at what he was being told. “I…guess so. You Krom now…okay?” Trying to implant that thought in his head he crouched down, staring at Aito before making a sudden leap at him, trying to go in to fight Aito with as much speed and force as he was giving to Krom.

"Well then... We can just cook something for you after this, something you're familiar with," Vegeta said as he shut down the gravity fields. The droning of the generators silenced within seconds, and the room was back to its regular settings. "Perhaps instead of a whole filet, I'll prepare a few ounces of steak for you, and some drink to wash it down with. The equivalent of a few bites, surely that wouldn't be a problem." Tender or well cooked? The texture and consistency of the food may well play a factor as well, perhaps he'd prepare two different, small portioned plates and see which one the Beastman took to. "There is no reason to continue with it when we can train under regular conditions. You proven to me you can do this, and you've also shown it'll be a while until you can do it without difficulty. So we'll just start at regular gravity, and ease it up." Push it now and he might injure himself, then they would be in worse position than they were now. "Do you feel up to doing a few more exercises? I want to try getting you to eat later as well, but we might as well work while we're here."

"So what is it? She's tainted because she's known war, or she's tainted because she lost someone? You're saying two things at once Kiton, is it one or the other?" She hated speaking about a child like this, it was nothing that should even involve someone as young as that girl. It was exasperating to be with someone like the Frost Demon right now, he was being shown obvious kindness and completely throwing it away. Frowning at the mention of loss, Sasha placed her hands on her hips and leaned in to get in Kiton's face testily. "I DO know what it's like to lose everyone and everything. Sure, I have Ricken, but our family? My home planet? I can return if I want, but there's nothing there for us now. I have none of my possessions, I'll never see most of my loved ones again, and returning to my home world wouldn't do me any good, it's a wasteland now." She knew the pain of loss plenty well, and while she did have more than Kiton, marginally, it had still been an awful experience. He could have a family again if he let the rebels be that family, or even the Princes and their group. Sighing at his woes over being pitied, Sasha straightened up and started walking again, with Leto standing back uncertain as what to do. "You're in a bad state, there's nothing wrong with people trying to help. Stop being so cynical and prideful, accept where you are now and make the best of it. Otherwise you sound like you'd rather be on your own than here, and I'm sure that could be arranged."

"M-Miss Sasha, you don't mean that!" Leto said quickly, gaping as he watched her continue to walk away without another word. Biting his lip briefly, the Yulian glanced down at Kiton and placed a hand on his back, giving it a pat and being mindful not to knock the small alien over. "She didn't mean that I'm sure, please don't take it to heart. She does seem to know how you feel though, and I'm sure some of those emotions must be raw for her. Why don't we let her go, and I'll show you some of the nicer places in the city?" If the two of them stayed together then they were just going to argue, they each needed some time apart to cool down and think. Clearing his throat, Leto stood upright and fixed his uniform, trying to diffuse the awkward silence with a typical over-exaggerated remark. "Come! Let's venture forth and see what wonders await us!"

"Whatever. So you're a threat to Shu, all the more reason to do it," Takeshi retorted, going right on in for the attack. As usual he went for a feign, trying to catch Krom off guard and land a hit on his blind spot. To absolutely no one's surprise it didn't work, and he tried then to follow up by grabbing the Elite and throw him off of his feet. Even though he'd gotten a hold of the guy he couldn't move him at all, finding himself tossed about as he hung on to keep the distance close. "And remember you're fighting me, not Shu!" Pulling himself closer to Krom still, Takeshi reeled his right arm back and tried to punch the Saiyan right in the face, hoping he was too close to the guy for him to react in time.

Shu was likely going to be nervous training with anyone but Takeshi. In fact he didn't seem comfortable unless he was with his brother constantly, why was that? Attachment issues? Lack of confidence? Perhaps both, it was hard to say with certainty just yet. That was a matter for later though, right now Aito wanted to see what Shu was capable of. "Yes, I'll offer suggestions, helpful tips to make you more effective. I guess saying it was bad isn't right, more... How you can get better." He didn't want Shu thinking he was inadequate, that was not the purpose of this at all. Taking a stance and preparing for their session, Aito waited patiently for the young boy to make the first move. As expected he went with a very heavily telegraphed lunge, which while fast was easily predictable and countered. Stepping somewhat to the side, the doctor used one hand to push Shu slightly as well, sending him away before spinning on his heel to face the boy. "Instead of making one big leap, why not try running at me? Or taking several shorter, quicker leaps?" he suggested, smiling as he spoke, "Putting it all into one jump makes it all or nothing, but if you take more time, there's more things you can do. Understand?"
