River quietly entered the town hall from the door at the back of the room. William was already speaking to the group and she could tell that whatever it was, it was serious. She slunked to the center of the room where she leaned her shoulder against a wood beam to listen. His words were hard to comprehend with her tired mind but it was passionate and so she continued to follow along. After his speech was through, she left out a sign of relief. No specific word of Lycans in the area yet, so I guess that's good. She thought to herself. She stood up straight and waited for the others to begin to leave as well, but only one headed out the doors, Ryan. She followed behind him, not wanting to be left in the room much longer. River still did not know anyone from the town yet and was nervous to start getting acquainted with so many unfamiliar faces. However, she did sometimes wish that she had a familiar face to run to when she was unsure, but for now that was just something she was going to have to get used to. She continued her way outside into the dark sky that seemed to be forcing just a few lonely drops of rain from its clouds.
