Dante Giordano
There was something to be said about Dante Giordano. A man who, despite all his experience traveling, always managed to get lost wherever he went. It truly must have been some sort of skill, a boon granted by the heavens, that enabled Dante to constantly end up in thoroughly disorientated. He lived in an era of smartphones after all, one would think he could find his way through the miracle of GPS. Yet somehow, without fail, Dante found a way to mess even that up. Was he really expected to remember Hybrid Academy, Academy City not Hybrid, Academy City? Regardless the fact of the matter was simple. He was lost. Completely and utterly... Lost. Fantastic. Fanfreakingtastic. It was bad enough to simply be lost, but it was even worse when said disorientation leads one to tardiness on their first day of school. After all, Dante had been greatly looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about the nature of magic. Academy City had always been a city of dreams to the young lad, and now that he was finally here the first thing he went and did was get himself completely lost. Quite the genius eh? Regardless, Academy City wasn't all that conducive for finding your way, and since his phone battery had long since died, Dante was stuck relying on the old fashioned approach. Namely asking every, single, person he saw. Every. Single. Person. Unfortunately, new schools weren't exactly on the radar of the average denizen, and thus Dante's progress had been rather slow. Finally though, he made some progress thanks to a certain bratty kid. Unfortunately, said kid wouldn't give Dante the information, until Dante found his wallet depleted gambling his money away for the prize in one of those funky ball machine things. First day in Academy City and he was already off to a great start. Maybe he should've just stayed home. No. it's not that bad, I'll make it there soon enough. I'm not that late. Well, 20 minutes but still. Not that late. Kicking off into a sprint, Dante was pleased to realize he wasn't too far away, and his arrival took only a few moments. The beam of light called down from the heavens, his eyes quickly revealing to be Magic, immediately cued him into where his destination was. Plus, it seemed he wasn't the only one running late. Slipping casually in line behind the brown haired girl, Dante found himself desperately wishing that his tardiness would go unnoticed or at the very least unpunished. Maybe small talk would make it appear I've always been here? Wonderful weather we're having? Shut up Dante, just stay quiet.
