Ali' moved slightly farther away from the magic testing field, trying to avoid any future whiplash from spells. He figured if they were all going to be this big, standing close might end with him getting hurt over something stupid. Besides, with his phone at such low power he couldn't protect himself from any debris anyway. As Ali' moved back, he saw that two more magicians had entered the 'arena', so to speak. This relieved some of Alistair's earlier anxiety about the low number of magicians in the school.
