[b]Azca, the Eternal Warrior[/b]


[u]Powers:[/u]
Azca, the man beyond men. As long as pens and scribes recall memory, Azca has ruled as the general of the Golden Battalion, an army of the strongest warriors, paladins, and crusaders to ever walk the earth. When divisions of soldiers prepare battle against monsters and demons, they raise their blades to the sky, seeking his blessing. The battles he attends personally are always victories, no matter the odds. Even the strongest of warriors who serve only gold have shrines and small idols devoted to him. 

Azca's origin is speculated by many, if not all. Some say he was a normal human who's pure strength and resolve led to his ascendance 
of power. Others say he IS strength and resolve manifested, in a time of growing chaos and despair to guide humanity to glory and protect the weak, though shunned by all but his own devotees. 

Azca has unremarkable strength and endurance, capable of fighting massive beasts and banishing demons. His trademark weapon is his megasword, the Blade of Lions. It gives full loyalty to it's wielder by those that accept him/her as their ruler. It was crafted by himself, forged in the molten fires of the earth, many years ago. Those who have been subject by him for many years refuse all attempts by the sly to betray him, no matter the bribe or threat. A whole legion of demons has been slain by him alone, a feat he uses to further empower those loyal to him. For years he and his people have weathered threats, but the opening of an opertune chance appears, the chance to become the new One.


[u]Rituals:[/u]

Azca refuses sacrifice, offerings, and prayers made to earn his favor. The act of favor he relishes is when those who receive his strength 
use it to vanquish evil and conquer the wicked. 

[b]The Golden Battalion[/b]

[u]History:[/u]

The Golden Battalion originally formed when Azca's feats and legacy became well known, and a handful of warriors were impressed enough to offer their services to him. Since then, almost 500 powerful warriors join his band each year, all of different backgrounds, united under a single concept: Hope. 

[u]Military:[/u] The entire group is an elite crusaders force, with qualifications having to have at least served two years as a warrior of any kind, undoubted belief in their cause, and untainted loyalty.

[u]People:[/u] While a majority of the Golden Battalion's forces are warriors, some are able to carry out domestic work, such as cooking or hunting. Though they are less combat experienced than the elite of the Golden Battalion, logistic operations would be a nightmare without them.


[u]Important persons:[/u]

The second strongest person in the Golden Battalion, next to Azca, though he still fails to come anywhere near in power to him.
