[/quote] As for the disability, I was having the opposite problem with it in the sense that I had a hard time justifying such a crippling disability when magic exists that can restore bones (Painfully) but rather quickly or human transfiguration capable of doing much greater things. The best I could come up with to hand wave it was that they could at least mask the severity of the deformity with magic, if not cure it entirely. That being said, I actually like the idea of it being both very apparent and very unseemly much more. I don't mind going back to that idea in the least. As for the second part, I agree that was a bit ham-fisted in retrospect give me a moment to give a bit more nuanced explanation for how Troy found out.
