Wikipedia says that "Peace Treaty" was the original name for the Terms of Partial Surrender that some of the former human leaders foolishly attempted to offer our Overlords when they arrived.
If you actually have one, I'd sell it.  You could get 7 or 8 galactic credits, which may be enough to purchase yourself from the Overlords.
