He has talent, just not a lot of knowledge or actual practice playing the game so he could be tricked very easily with feints and the like. -Inexperience, he hasn't been around the block like these other players have. If the enemy seeker speeds off as a trick he will fall for it hook line and sinker.

-Bad awareness, this ties into his weakness against Bludgers, he just hasn't had to keep track of so many people and things flying through the air before. This will also be his biggest problem to overcome as a seeker since he obviously has to find the golden snitch.

I was thinking the only reason he got on the team is that the old seeker graduated and left the team without anyone that really fit the bill. Though it is a long shot to put Troy in that position they are more counting on next year or even the year after to come back into form. Of course this isn't going to make the young impressionable boy any happier when he gets handled by the other two seekers.
