Alex blinked as the Queen left before looking to Naisha as she spoke. Blinking a little at the request to get their clothes, all the while receiving Naisha's effective big round eyed treatment. Oh yeah.... Alex forgot she could do that for a moment in her embarrassment. With a sigh, she nodded, focusing so her black armor appeared and covered her body. Standing up and walking to retrieve their clothes in the corner of the room. Course they'd be over here. Probably another amusement for the witch and Queen.

Amalthea shifted a little at the question, shyly facing toward where Naisha spoke from. Alana was the one to speak up though. [color=lime]"Um.. The Empire is one of the human kingdoms next to this country of Evalin. Evalin is a small country but a peaceful one... though it's been getting messy since it's in between the Empire and Drokon borders who have been getting into skirmish's. Rumor is war is starting soon. Their even bringing elves and dwarves within their battles. Queen Karette has remained neutral to either side and has taken the village here in Evalin to remain that way... and um... make sure the people she has here aren't come to harm.. The Empire doesn't enjoy non-humans and both sides despise residents of the other. Even common folk. Queen Karette took in some refugee's on her travel here."[/color] she explained, frowning a little.

[color=lime]"The Empire is outside the barrier of the forest. Non Amazon's aren't allowed through unless granted permission. Thanks to Lady Krieli'nas. But.. a former Amazon named Zira passed through. She was daughter of the late Queen. Tradition says all blood ties to the fallen Queen are to be executed.. but Queen Karette spared her. Queen Karette changed a few traditions when she came into power. Like.. slaves."[/color] Alana continued, glancing to Amalthea a little whom frowned softly. [color=lime]"It seems Zira has come to challenge Karette for the throne... but it's odd to hear some Empire soldiers are just outside the forest. They came several times to ask.. or demand aid in the war, but Queen Karette always refused. The Empire tried to fight a couple of times, but they lost a heavy battle against the Amazons until it was just easier to leave them alone."[/color] Alana explained.

Alex grabbed their clothes and walked back to Naisha, handing the cat girl her clothes and frowned at the information. All of these things were pretty new to her. [color=red]"Then... this 'Zira' is with these Empire people?"[/color] she wondered.
