The mage felt so very tired from what she just did to try to safe Karette’s life. It was a tiring magic art, one that drained incredible amount of magic to work and on top of it, it was only possible to use in the water spirit form she invoked. If she had managed to continue keeping that spell working for a few or more hours, the queen might have been completely saved, but Nai’s own life was going to end. It wasn’t called sacrifice art for nothing, for better or worse she couldn’t keep the spell up that long though. Her ability to maintain those forms was well limited.

If they switched like that and did not stop, they were going to take a lot less time to arrive and return. The horse was good enough and with some help from magic once she recovered her strength, it was going to be possible! Naisha felt for a first time in forever that she had a place where she belonged. With Alex next to her, she was going to be able to live anywhere, but being with the amazons actually felt very good. She felt at home! Though the way she also started to feel about Karette also helped that. Naisha truly loved Alex, but at the same time she started to grow feelings for the queen as well. It wasn't the same pure love like with her childhood friend, but it felt strong anyway.
