[@Terminal] I would be more alright with a small habitable world instead of a Medium. And also, with the situation you propose, and choosing not to fall under the rule of the Celestial Empire, yes, you would be Rebels. And being Rebels you would be sought out and destroyed, instead of being defended against, you would be hunted. And if you were able to construct a defensible fleet, by an internal decision, the Dreadnought may be used. When the roleplay starts, C.E. is going to be giving ARG Credits to Minors with small defensive capabilities to fund a military space station for added protection (And those they like). You'll have to quickly get allies if you don't want C.E. to come wipe you out when they find you. Otherwise, you could be a collective of transporters, traders, and other civilians, giving you added bonuses, other disadvantages, still have a lot of credits, and not be seen as Rebels... until you become hostile.
I do have a small habitable world. It's the one each minor power receives for free. I bought the medium habitable world using my point allocation, as clearly indicated above. As for the 'falling under the rule of the Celestial Empire' bit, I never said they didn't. I merely said they would insist on being identified as an independent sovereign power. I.E., a minor nation, akin to the other minor nations. They too, would be independent sovereign powers, not governed by the Celestial Empire but, according to you, still under the rule of the ARG. My nation would nominally also be subject to the laws of ARG as well, since there's no reason not to be yet, so they aren't really rebels. If you define rebellion as 'choosing not to be a part of the Celestial Empire,' then I believe you have bigger fish to fry with the other two Major Powers openly flaunting their independence and sovereign authority. Also, I am a collective of transporters, traders, and other civilians. I also happen to be a technical offshoot of the Celestial Empire's bureaucracy. This doesn't bear much further elaboration until my nation sheet is posted, which should be shortly.
