An original speedster could work as an extended member of the league. However, for the big 7 I'm looking into casting primarily canon characters for JL core for lore reasons. So, yes to either. Either of the two could work, however a Flash being in the big 7 is more of a continuation of formality. Every member, including originals will have a distinct epithet accompanied by an ID of sorts # 1-7 is for the big seven of course, then there's 8 - ## . 

Also, I want to designate teams in addition to the big 7. Say if there's 5 more members. Those members would be allowed to branch off and form their own team. So on and so forth.
