Personality:
Alexander is a troubled young man who has put himself under great pressure to succeed for both his parents and to prove himself even to the world. Being driven since a young age to achieve this goal he was a shoe-in for House Good. He's not one to lie or cheat his fellow students though like any other person a white lie and the like is not a sin. But all his friends agree that he's a terrible liar. Being driven has meant that Alexander enjoys the company of others who also wish to prove themselves or are high-achievers.
He's got a big problem with being alone and tries to hide that anxiety behind a very warm and espansive personality though he often fins it tiring and will disappear to find himself a quiet place. He hates it when people snub him or dislike him and won't talk to him. His upbringing has left him with a negative attitude to Muggles and Muggleborn people though he doesn't have an issue talking or doing things with them, it's just that he feels uncomfortable after a while.

Biography:
Alexander or Alexi [A-Lex-ee], is the heir to the Von Haufenstaufen's, an ancient German house from Saxony. The Von Haufenstaufen's fled Germany as a result of the persecution of Grindelwald's followers after his defeat as the last remaining member and Alexi's father was a high ranking member of them. He fled to America and settled in Pennslyvania where he met Appoliona De Ariette and married her. They did not have children until very late and Alexi they are told is to be they're only one.
Alexi's father, Franz is a strict and authoritarian figure who owns a rather successful international magical delivery service which is well known for its quality services as a way to move things overseas or bring them into the country at a good price. This has eant that for much of Alexi's life he has been away and that he's been elevated to a god-like status by Alexi who wants t be like him. (This has led to his feelings about muggles who he feels are below magicals and should be taught better. This has leaked over to feelings on muggleborns though less strongly and more about them not respecting traditions).
Appolina, Alexi's mother is a rather vacuous woman who also has left Alexi often alone with a nurse while she shops and gossips with her friends. Yet Alexi loves his mum and she undoubtedly loves him, in fact his most prized possession is the little charms necklace she bought him that is meant to give him good luck (it's an area of effect happiness charm). His mother's penchant to leave him alone has meant he cherishes any time spent with her and any praise she gives him.
Alexi's desire to prove himself worthy of his father and win his mother's attention has borne a strong motivation and drive for him. Since very young he's often spent his time in the family library and since gaining his wand he also enjoys casting spells and learning how to make spells. He also enjoys flying since he's discovered he's very good at flying and even played as a chaser for two years before dropping out for his studies. But Alexi isn't just work and no play, he's a teenager and for those who are his friends he's a very boisterous, mischievous and a bit too touchy feely guy who enjoys company and will gladly lend an ear to listen to their troubles.
