Fenris was focusing his senses. Sniffing, hearing for anything that might betray the whereabouts of the creature. Something wasn't right though. There was only one creature in the cage, but he was smelling it from three different locations. He caught the whiff of the creatures at the last second too. Fenris stomped his foot into the ground causing a short wall of ice to sprout up around himself and his partner. It was too late though as they were tripped, knocking them both over. Fenris took his partner's hand in getting up quickly before slamming his lance into the ground. Sending a wave of ice towards the creature and knocking it back. [color=6ecff6]"Hit it now while it's visible!"[/color] Fenris yelled as his partner as he turned his attention to the howling creature. 

Over by Imarir and the others there were two more creatures. One that was releasing a terrible high pitched wail that stung Fenris' ears. It had somehow triggered his ice trap that he had laid at the healer's feet. Before even thinking about how that happened Fenris quickly shot a burst of magic at the trap, causing the ice to vanish. Then returned his attention to the creature that was attacking them.

Fenris started slowly cooling the air around the creature. Trying to get it to the right temperature where at a snap of his fingers the creature would be frozen solid, just like the giant rat. Though this time he was trying to freeze everything except its head so as not to kill the thing.
