[@thewizardguy] Just an FYI, the speed of sound is about 340 m/s, modern artillery has projectiles going at least double that speed. 

This is super advanced plasma weapons so they probably go the same speed with a lot more destructive force. 

Average fighters in fighting series seem to keep up pretty easily with bullets and such.
