Avalon sighed a breath of relief. As far as she knows only one trap could be set in one spot. If that is the case then she should stay in that spot and not move until she had to which would be for something like rescuing a person or to give some medical attention to someone or if she was attacked. However she could do something to ease the shrillness of another shriek. 
In a pouch was some cotton which she stuffed her ears with then tied a bandage around her ears and head in what she hoped looked like a warrior band. That in itself gave her some comfortable feelings that she had done something towards the battle even though it was for herself and it wasn't a wound which of course she was glad of as she watched the battle from her 'safe spot'.

Avalon began to think up any reason that she saw only one beast in the cage but there were three running around as if it had some kind of a split personality.........
