"Usually you just walk in, Ma!"

Aries voice and hand on her shoulder caused Octavia to jump, her head hitting the door with a clunk. [i]"Ah!"[/i] she exclaimed, placing her hand on her son's hand. [i]"Oh my love, you scared me. I thought you were in your room this entire time."[/i] her grey eyes darted as she turned around and looked up and down her son. [i]"Wait, why were you NOT in your room?"[/i] she scolded, her eyebrows furrowed looking concerned and worried.

Her face relaxed a bit before, [i]"I suppose you're old enough now though to do as you please and leave your poor, old, helpless mother here..alone"[/i] she admitted, playing the guilt card.
