I was very particular when I typed so that you could read exactly what I typed rather than assume what I meant. By no means did I say that was EXACTLY what Vegeta's role in DBZ was, I put it in quotation marks and even added "of sorts" as a disclaimer to highlight that I'm simply using that as a reference point. I wanted to reference the "Worf Effect" but I wasn't sure how many people knew enough about Star Trek to get that reference. So thank you for pointing out that my intentions for my character were not EXACTLY like the role Vegeta played in DBZ regarding power levels. I already indicated that it wasn't an exact allegory.

Its funny, because you glossed over the only thing I was trying to explain, which is what I highlighted in bold; by listing people who could best or go toe-to-toe with Vegeta, you had a list of the most noteworthy people in DBZ which is the only thing I was making a specific connection to.
