Carver scratched the back of his head in confusion as he led August in the direction of the stables. "Train them... I hadn't thought of that sort of thing..." The idea seemed alien to Carver. As Amon put it, it was the sort of noble thing he should be doing - helping people help themselves. Perhaps it would be worth considering. "We shall see." Taking August to the stables took but a moment, and he returned to the warning of Molly about the king. This caused him some amount of concern - he'd heard nothing good about this man so far. The knight would have to judge for himself, but so far he sounded like a tyrant; the sort to be removed from power rather than obeyed. Amon had offered to speak for him, and discuss the audience over the meal. "This is a fine offer, friend. You seem to have the advantage of me in the application of your speech, and I would be glad to have you present my case in my stead." The knight leaned in closer, so his words would be audible only to his companion."Though... perhaps we should have this meal, and this discussion, sooner rather than later? I confess, I am ill at ease with things."
