History: Jack volunteered at 18 to join the Great War, he served the entire war. Afterwards he came home broken and estranged. He would frequent bars, and often isolate himself from old friends and family. He held down a job at a steel mill, and then was a hunting guide during the hunting season. A friend who managed to stay close convinced him to travel to maine, that is where he was when the red plague hit. He survived on his own before settling down on the Tackett farmstead.

I'd like to see Jack's sheet beefed up a bit before he's accepted. Descriptions, details, et cetera. Check out the accepted characters tab for the usual length. Glad to see more veteran characters!
Also, this is only a small detail, but the RP starts at the beginning of the outbreak, so nobody's aware of it yet.
