The example of Killer Croc is most comparable to character like the Martian Manhunter, Etrigan, Hawkgirl etc. They are physically not human, but their traits are still rooted in the 'reality' of that universe. The whole point of your character was that she opposed reality and was thus 'unrealistic'. I don't understand why you're making this an issue.
