Ah, well to center, enclose what you want centered in this:

[noparse][center][/center][/noparse]

And for the lines, you'll need to type "hr" enclosed in square brackets *without the speech marks*

NOTE: For the hr, you don't need to do /hr like with the centering. Hope that clears it all up.
