In an alternate version of future Trunks' world, humanity mourns the loss of its would be savior, Trunks, who died facing the androids (aka cyborgs). Bulma turns from her time travel experiments to trying to find a way to defend Earth. While studying Dr. Gero's blueprints and the scouter technology, she discovers how to make a power module that will amplify the Ki of anyone it's implanted into to Super Saiyan levels. Now the Earth's strongest warriors, Roshi, Chi Chi, and Yajirobi, must train a new group of warriors to fight for humanity.

Bulma: Keeps the equipment working, including a gravity chamber and Saiyan healing pods, and sees to the development of new tech as we need it.

Yajirobi: Trains people in strategy, especially where super-human fights are concerned.  He also managed to save a piece of the senzu bean plant, but it isn't producing yet.

Roshi: Ki power and strength training.  Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to fly yet.

Chi-chi: Basic fighting techniques.  Also keeps the base clean and cooks, because no one else would do it.

Dr. Ro: Gohan and Trunks found a supercomputer in Dr. Gero's basement when they went looking for the plans for the Androids.  It was badly damaged, but Bulma managed to get it back online.  Inside it there was a partial intelligence which called itself Doctor Ro.  It remembers little of the past, and isn't sure if it was programmed by Dr. Gero or if it IS Dr. Gero.  It does know important things occasionally, so they keep it online so that they can speak with it.  Use caution when dealing with it, though.  Doctor Gero's creations can't be trusted.
