It is indeed a fun thought.

But any races that I choose for a plot will be from family lines that have existed in Brusaleye for at least two generations, to deter any real asshattery. 

And I am not writing in a demographic, any races that I choose for a plot will literally be one or two characters and their issues in a dominant human society. I'm not going to write about a brigade of gnomes supported by naga archers.. well, that would be pretty amusing.
