Arte can be very quirky and fun most of the time, and a little competitive. She is actually quite a child. But when things get serious, so does she. Her behavior changes quite a bit. Time to study for midterms? She won't be found messing around. Time for some capture the flag? Game on! It's almost as if she changes based on the situation....

Arte has the powers of invulnerability, although she can feel pain, and creativity. She wishes to write tons of books; all fiction of course! Arte is the Treasurer of the Night Garden Club.

When she was little, she thought she was a human before her mother had to explain to her kin to her. She lived with as far back as four generations of her family. She lived to be with her fifth generation grandmother as she died, and was given her necklace. Arte wears it, like all other Midstarks, to show her loyalty to her kin.

As a child, Arte carried on and participated in Midstarkian traditions and was a great part of their culture. She has also always been fascinated with humans and human culture, especially Christmas. 

Arte left her family to go to college and pursue her dream of creating fantastical worlds and characters through inscriptions on paper. Although she stays in contact with them pretty often.
