[@Karro] At least I'm not the only one who's rusty. I don't really have specific themes or topics I prefer. I tend to just dump a bunch of things into a melting pot and see what happens. 

I like the idea of something historical or the stranded thing. Historical wise I tend to lean more toward the 1860s and Native Americans. I'm an 1/8 Lakota Sioux and know more background on that whereas I vaguely remember talking about WWII back in high school nine years ago. 

The stranded one could be some major fun though when you look at all the other things that can be thrown in. Take a cruise, throw in a storm, whisk up a shipwreck... Add in a rich girl/poor boy(or vise versa) setup and a love/hate theme for spice... Sounds like a mighty fine gumbo to me.
