Just a Stupid Idea

I want to have a role play based around Tony's son and Clint's son. Years have pasted since the two dropped out of being an avenger and they never got back into to touch. So the only way our characters know each other is through the school that they both go to. I was thinking Clint's son acts more like a son that Tony wants and Tony's son acts more like son that Clint wants. They almost look a like, the two boys have the same body build, face structure and eye color, the only thing they would have to change is their hair color.

Would something involving magic be alright? Yes, I know that magic exists in the Marvel Universe too, but it isn't a big thing with Iron Man or Hawkeye.

Okay, cool. Now, I'd want to have a character too, so I think I should ask if you want both your character and mine to look the same. You mentioned that in your original post here. If possible, I'd like to have a character with his own appearance, but a personality which is in line with what you had in mind. You can make your character look like whatever you want, of course.

Sure, the only reason why I had them look the same in the Marvel plot is because the two kids are not super human or anything. Now that we are using magic our two characters can look anyway we'd like them.

Well, since it involves magic, we can have them use magic themselves, if you like. Did you want them to remain as friends, brothers, adopted brothers (but no ice giants, please!), or something else?

I don't want to pitch every idea, you know. Never my intention to take this over. Collaboration usually produces the best results anyway.

If we did brothers it would remind me of Parent trap. Let's just have them remain friends.

I have no problem with that, really. I would like to hear any idea you might have for this.

I was thinking that the characters could live in a major magical city with lots of diversity (to allow for almost any other species we want to show up, like elves or goblins if we wanted to), but the main characters could visit each other. Maybe one would be richer than the other (again, a bit like Iron Man/Stark and Hawkeye/Barton), but they are still friends.

Also, they are supposed to be high school age?

Hmm. I imagine this would be roughly medieval-tech with magic... but that works out well for the Hawkeye bit. Archery is a very old thing, after all. :)

So, which character did you want to play?

Hmm. See my avatar? If it is okay with you, I'd like my main character to be that same species, called a dracon. Same with his family. Call it an interracial friendship, if that helps. He'd have a personality which is reasonably like your description above, in the original post.

If you want to do that, sure, although it might help if he has a single true form.

So, names. I was thinking of a few for my character. So far, I have "Ardashir", an old Persian name. I usually use more classical-sounding ones. I'm thinking his parents have a mansion (no, not like Iron Man's Malibu house!), and that his father is the court mage of the city's ruler. His mother would run the household most of the time, given how busy his father is. No, he isn't named "Howard" or "Stark." :D

I planned on having a true form. Just need to decide what that is. I was thinking of calling Vladimir. That sounds good. I was thinking about making my character have a single parent lifestyle.
