At least five, only two of which are occupied, and, no higher than second-in-command of the organization.

However, if you're picking the second-in-command, you'll have to know a few things.

The Brotherhood Elder who is leading the BoS in NYC is Elder Mavarek/Maverek, a supporter of Lyons who is also a mix between the latter and the more orthodox BoS leaders. The BoS has also recently found a giant Construction Droid in the ruins of Colombia University, and there was a brief debate on whether to use it to improve the Wasteland or as a weapon of War. Elder Mavarek picked the option of 'Both'.

Also, the Enclave is under new leadership, new leadership that wants to [i]enslave[/i] the Wasteland instead of exterminate everything. The new leader, my Second PC Alan Anderson, is also a sex-crazed maniac who uses 'muties' who catch his eye 'that' way...
