[@shadowventus][@supertinyking] With his hand on the doorframe, Mithias reads the minds and emotions of the two before him. It was such a familiar scene, one that would inevitably play out over and over throughout all lives all across the universes. Taking his hand off the doorframe, he steps down into the room with them and slowly walks over. "No." He says calmly, blank expression. "I'm not running, and never again will I give in, for the one who saved me did not give in or turn away." He looks down at Michael without fear or judgement. His soft black hair hangs loosely over a chest that rises and falls in a soothing rhythm. Mithias' skin is warm to the touch as he reaches down and gently lifts Michael's chin to look at him. For a moment, they stare at each other, forgetting the thoughts that only seconds ago had consumed their minds. Mithias speaks, "His name was Valentus." His gaze was captivating, as if looking into the eyes of a being who had already lived several lifetimes, who knew what darkness was and yet somehow had survived it, only to look back on it in others like a distant memory. The darkness sinks away from him, like like a pool evaporating in the sun's rays; it has no power here. "The light will never stop loving you." He let his hand fall away, allowing Michael to do or say or be whatever he would. Whatever he would do, it would be his choice.
