Today was the day. The day he would be taking a vertibird to New York to aid Elder Mavarek in the use of the new Construction Droid, for its militaristic purposes against the Enclave most likely. Elder Lyons honestly shocked him with this order, he thought he would be in the Commonwealth, aiding the Brotherhood there against the eerily odd amount of mutants and Raiders there. Plus the Commonwealth had what was no doubt an abundance of Pre-War artifacts they could use in their research, and their fight against the enemies of the Brotherhood. A knock at the door to his quarters snapped him of his little daydream. "Paladin Jensen, it is time, the transport is here." The supplies, including his weapons and Armor, were sent ahead, so his room currently lacked any flair leaning to the man who inhabited it. He stood and nodded to the message carrying Knight and stood, sighing contently as he followed the soldier to the exit, and out into the open "yard" as he liked to call it of the Brotherhood HQ in D.C., A vertibird sat idly, waiting for him to climb on so they could get moving towards his new posting. HE climbed in quickly and took the time to buckle in as Elder Lyons and some other friends he had made here came to wave goodbye to Zach as the vertibird took off toward New York. He figured it'd be awhile, so he sat back and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Awhile later he felt the speed of the craft begin to change, slow down, as he came close to the landing pad at the Sky Citadel, he saw the wondrous work of his brothers and sisters up here as the building looked well cared for and was a sight to behold. As the vertibird landed he got ready to dismount, he assumed the Elder would meet him inside, so he wasn't surprised when he didn't see him initially and simply made his way inside, heading to his quarters. Apparently he was being given two days to rest and prepare for the trials ahead, so he took this time and aimed to make good work of it. Ad Victoriam.
