[@supertinyking] The fellow nods enthusiastically. "Yes, we are, but.... clones? As in... duplicate humans? Does that mean this is not... first contact?" The man seems both relieved and confused, as he realized he was in no immediate danger. It was clear that these people were from an alternate reality, where the Dominion did not exist. It was also clear that he was unaware of the existence of the Dominion, as he seemed to believe that clones must be clones of humans, and these humans in particular. Of course, this was accompanied by some much worse news. The ships that remained in orbit had received a signal from the depths of space, and it had instantly been recognized. It was the same signal that had been unleashed in Tor-6, and had dealt significant damage to the command structure of the Dominion. This signal held the power to influence whomever it was that observed it, and to draw them towards Chaos. The Clones seemed to be immune to it's effects, although it was uncertain whether this was a result of previous exposure, or because of the God Emperor's influence. But it was only through timely action that the world below had been spared. A young luitenant up top had launched the signal scramblers the moment the signal had been detected. While these were usually used to interrupt dominion communications, they would now protect those below from being exposed to the Chaos Signal. Of course, it would also wreak havoc on most of their communications networks, and shut down the internet in it's entirety. It was uncertain how many Chaos forces had entered this universe, hunting after the clones. It could be a single ship, an entire Chapter, or perhaps even a Battlefleet. However, the forces of Chaos had indeed entered this reality, and were most likely hunting them down even now. It was only their stealth equipment that had prevented the forces of Chaos from materializing around them. But it would not hide them from the ever watchful eye of Chaos forever.
