Sol sighed in disappointment, he'd waited this long for nothing. He turned to face the skeleton and the fairy, "Perhaps one or both of you would be willing to duel with me?" he asked, hopefulness apparent in both his voice and eyes, his sword arm laying dejectedly at his side. Surely at least one of them would oblige him, after all, how could they give him a score if he hadn't done anything? Though he was doubtful of his ability to beat both of them at the same time he welcomed a challenge. At least the skeleton should put up a good fight, while wary of the fairy he didn't expect her to accept his challenge anyway.
[@TheHangedMan]
The man grinned, as expected, with such a style of fighting surely the battle would have to be ended soon. He already knew that Meruin was physically rather... fragile. A rune flared up beneath his feet and a matching one in the sky. A brief flicker of light was all that was shown and then the rest of the sky runes activated. Roaring from the skies like gods wrath a beam of fire and light came down in a purifying blast directly on Meruin's head. The man watched Meruin charge towards his perfect replica from above, with his power nonexistent for all intents and purposes. He wondered whether she would attempt to destroy his well procted other self in an attempt to destroy him before the laser arrived or turn to her own defense, who knows, maybe she would try to do both. Regardless he watched the results with great interest.
