"Get down, Frouline." The pokemon responds promptly and Cliff turns toward Rowan. He stepped forward, with a stern look on his face. "Hey. If you're frustrated, you shouldn't take it out on others. I didn't mean to ignore you." He'd missed his handshake. Apparently, the other boy was sensitive to that kind of thing. He'd have to be more mindful. He glanced at the girls, making sure Melody was just a little jostled and nothing more serious.

Melody huddled into Nieshas embrace, standing slightly behind her while she scolded Rowan "Thank you for standing up for me guys, but its ok" She began drying her eyes on her sleeves "It was just a little unexpected I guess" She looked down at her feet

Rowan gave a weird look to Cliff before shaking his head in disbelief.
"You think I would do that because you ignored me? Just how highly do you regard yourself?" Rowan mocked Cliff before he continued on, still shaking his head in disbelief. He decided to ignore Neisha's demand, deciding it was too much of a bother to even respond.
Honestly he didn't care what they thought of him, as long as Twig stayed by his side he would be right. Though he did think he might've hit Melody too hard, so he might have to apologise later. But like hell anyone would make him, he would only do so if he wished to.

Rowan didn't appear to treat humans very well. And it seemed he thought a little bit too much of himself. If he treated hisnpokemon like he did them, Niesha decided she'd do something about it. "Oh Melody, if someone hurts someone else they should apologize, otherwise they think you were asking for it, and no one asks to be hurt" she said to the other girl,

"You are Surly, Rowan. Your manor shows that." What was the point of staying quite if they were going to be spending any sort of time together? "And if you even think to hit Melody, or myself or anyone else for that matter, I'll make sure you get it worse back. You can't treat people like they are there to be hit just because you don't like what they say. It's not merely the physical pain! You made her cry, you, you-you, I don't have a word! But if you think it's alright to hit someone and not apologize, well, what will you do to your Pokemon then?" She was deliberately trying to aggravate now, to get any sort of reaction, but mainly she just wanted Rowan to feel sorry and to apologize.

"I mean, hey, some people are really sensitive." But, Rowan probably didn't care. Cliff shrugged at the boy and turned to the other two. Melody seemed alright. Little jostled but otherwise ok. Niesha was really laying into the other boy, so he just decided to stand back and step in when necessary. Mediate.

Rowan sighed deeply before turning around. This was getting too bothersome for him. His pride wasn't worth this annoying nonsense.
"Fine, whatever. I'm sorry. There, done." Rowan spun back around and kept walking.

Small victories. Niesha sighed, and turned to Melody. "Are you okay?" She asked softly, trying to sound reassuring as she looked back over her shoulder, glaring at Rowan. "Some people just can't admit their wrong" she looked back to Melody, "if you want, my mother taught me some ways of making food specific for Pokemon types. I can make Emp something"

Melody sniffled "I'm ok, thank you Niesha" she turned to Rowan "Apology accepted... Jerk" she grumbled, turning back to Niesha "That would be great, I'd love to help out and learn a thing or two, what about you Cliff?" She made a point of ignoring Rowan.

Rowan sighed as he continued walking towards Sandgem Town. Travelling in a group was a hassle, maybe it would be better if he just went solo? He was pretty confident that Twig could take on most pokemon they encounter, and if Twig can't then simply running away from the wild pokemon was a decent strategy, or maybe he should capture another pokemon soon?
Either way they can continue their friendly little-chit-chat, but Rowan just wanted to get this adventure on the road already.
Who knows maybe he could also avoid the Professor while he was at it...

Niesha smiled brightly and nodded "sure, I'd love the help! We could Try something tonight when we stop" she said happily, "so we better get a move on to Sandgem!" She said leaning down to pet Solias and started to walk again, pausing briefly to see if Melody and Cliff would follow

Cliff had been watching Rowan leave, frowning softly to himself. Well, that all went very smoothly. Before he could give much thought to it, the girls were addressing him. He turns to see that they, too, are preparing to move on ahead. "Aah, yeah. Right with ya." They'd be making food when they got to Sandgem? Sounds great! He follows after Niesha, letting Frouline climb to his shoulder again.

Melody followed after the rest of them, and so their (not so) merry troop was off to Sandgem Town, as they walked she decided to give Rei some fresh air so she let him out of his pokeball, but surprise, surprise he was asleep and she had to carry him as usual. "How much farther do you think itll be until we get there?" She asked of no one in particular after they had been trekking for quite some time.

Rowan continued his speedy pace towards Sandgem, the sooner they got there the better. He didn't want to camp the first night of his journey having made such little progress.
He glanced over his shoulder when he thought he heard Melody say something but he was too far ahead to properly hear, so he decided against responding to whatever it was she said and instead pulled out the pokeball containing Twig and stared at it for a few moments.
'what will you do to your Pokemon then?' The words rang out in his head as he continued walking.
"Not sure why she is comparing humans to pokemon. Pokemon are much easier to handle, humans are just annoying." Rowan muttered underneath his breath before returning Twig's pokeball to his belt. He barely knew the Turtwig so why would he hit his pokemon anyway?

Niesha looked about eagerly as they walked, taking in everything, and occasionally consulting a map to make sure they were going the right way, not trusting her own sense of direction. She looked over at Melody when she asked how long till they got there. Niesha shrugged, "Maybe an hour or two, I suppose, if we keep up this pace." She said, itching to take the bidoof out of its pokeball, to give it a name, and treat any injuries he or she may have gotten in the fight. And she wanted to check on the egg. "Hey, can we stop for a moment? I want to check on Solias, the bidoof and the egg I have, please! And I'm hungry, so no doubt the pokemon are too!"

As if to support that fact, Solias's stomach growled, and the Chimchar stared at it.

Cliff had found himself walking in front of the other two girls. Frou was climbing on his shoulders and his head, watching her surroundings with interest. Someone mentioned food and she turned right around. "Haha, alright, alright." Cliff turned to smile at the girls. "Frouline's hungry, too. Let's stop to eat."

"Alright, I'll go stop Rowan, do you guys want to get a fire started?" Melody began to run off ahead, calling out to Rowan with Emp close behind and Rei still in her arms. She quickly caught up to him all ill will forgotten by this point and let him know that they were planning to rest, she began to head back to the campsite, gesturing for Rowan for to follow.

Rowan stopped when Melody approached and told him about them stopping to rest and silently watched her head back to the others as he thought about what to do now.
Go back to where that annoying girl was, or keep walking and get to Sandgem town as fast as possible? No matter how much he wanted to pick the second one, and by god did he want to pick the second one, he instead just sighed heavily and trudged slowly back to the others.
He dropped his pack on the ground before sitting cross-legged on the ground sporting a bored facial expression.
