First off, Conibear is the guy with the frankenstein partner. My guy is the frankenstein.

The bumper is something that was macguyvered together without permission from the department. Me and Conibear were talking about it and I was planning on explaining it at some point IC until you decided you wanted to butt in on our cop stuff and screwed up the thing we had going.

As for the dog: If the dog is unreliable, it'd be put in a shelter or put down. On top of that, your character doesn't really have any reason for it to be assigned to her. She's in forensics. What's a dog going to do in a lab or at a crime scene other than disturbing evidence? I mean, if it was just a dog that she owned it'd make sense but making the dog a police dog just raises a bevy of questions.

In response to your last point, sure, I'm sure your character is very famous and notable in the CSI circles. The ones that have nothing to do with vice cops and basically no contact with them whatsoever because those two departments virtually never work together.
