[indent][color=#b5b5b3]For nearly ten years, the U.S. government owned their tranquil proposition of peace free from the coercive revolution and violent propaganda ruled by Superhuman insurgents. The death and defeat of their leader, Nicholas Washterson won their stand towards victory and restored nations free from the reign of turbulence caused by rebel factions. Highly classified members of the crusade who paid a large involvement on mutinous movements were held prisoners at the government's most secured and heavily guarded prison facility called the ORB. Information about the ORB were brought into simple tactics of publicity for the masses to see what it was, nevertheless for what it truly functioned, it was never redeemed to the public by any means. Multi-million agencies bearing agreed affiliations with the government were permitted to conduct scientific experiments on the inmates a year prior the ORB's operational inception. Over the span of ten years, hundreds of lives were taken from prisoners, mostly being by-products of failed experiments all for further studies on the Superhuman concept.

Nick Washterson's death was perhaps the most unacceptable occurrences throughout the eyes of Superhuman citizens whose lives were led towards an on-going battle for human rights and prosperity. Tragic as it seemed, Neither did it mean the end for them nor their standing resistance. It was, in fact, an awakening for rebels and affected commoners alike. New factions arose from the rubble of their fragmented ideals, fulfilling what their predecessors had left. Activists rallied their endless quest for equality against a number of government organizations. Perhaps their measures of advocacy were too prominent that it deliberately ceased the 10-year peace the government has been holding to. 

It was until confidential information regarding the ORB's horrendous activities were breached by hackers who belonged to groups of Superhuman activists. Soon it was advanced to non-government sectors associated by the human rights protection program then was brought immediately to the media. As it received publicity, it spread across the country like wildfire, conjuring a nationwide revelation of the experiments conducted, agencies involved with the said acts and the prisoners who became subjects to lethal conspiracies targeting the eradication of Superhumans. 

A month thereafter, violence was but a matter of common practice held all over Washington D.C. Destructive riots governed the streets, primarily caused by Superhumans. Public rallies were consistently upheld by families, relatives and friends of the prisoners who were used as test subjects. Despite of it all, government officials still refused to provide an answer for their mistreatment of the prisoners. This only fueled confusion and anger among Superhuman citizens. Thus within a month or two, the 10-year peace began crumbling down at rock bottom, all possible with the legacy left behind by the likes of Nick Washterson.

[indent][color=#b5b5b3]An organized breakout was commenced at the ORB following after the disappearance of its security supervisor, Charlene Waynes. Nearly a large number of inmates broke loose with the help of several unnamed infiltrators, all were identified wearing dark suits and a seal imprinted of a flag possessing the white and blue colour. Government authorities were unknowing of their origins essentially since the infiltrators weren't Superhumans themselves. The fact that the breakout was initiated too well without being yielded made them question about Charlene Wayne's disappearance, whether it was espionage or information about the ORB were forced out from what she knew.

This provoked the government on implementing drastic proposals to capture Superhuman rebels and the faction they were affiliated with. Prisoners who were a part of Nick Washterson's insurrection during the years of war went through severe means of torture just to spew out information of what they knew about the breakout and the person behind it all. Much to their dismay, no reliable information were gained by authorities. 

As the uprising continued, the government finally took up their opposition against rebellious factions and Superhuman activists, launching drastic implementations to those who would oppose their stand and would dare use violence to establish revolutionary pursuits. [/color][/indent]

[h2][i]The factions & their origins.[/i][/h2][center]___________________________________________________________________________[/center]

[indent][color=#b5b5b3]Citizens, teachers, nurses, plumbers, lawyers, all but different individuals who shared a common burden against the vast populace. Ever since the Superhuman phenomenon became a part of modern society, the human rights system have been corrupted by the hands of people who saw the existence of Superhumans as an immense threat toward mankind's future. Plucked from their rights to be treated equally, many sought coordination and fairness to live in sullen peace. While few remained hidden behind their homes in fear of violent protests and activism, an extensive community of Superhuman citizens grew strong in numbers and fought for what they believe was right, not only for their own benefits but for the entire nation. Activist groups arose, wherein a profusion of peaceful negotiations and indoctrination were established from the ideals they bear. However, their efforts were only laid to waste once the government refuse to accept their terms. That was when conflicts were formed, soon deluging into a turmoil that would change the tides between man and Superhuman.


One Superhuman who envisioned peace between two sides created a group of his own, masquerading as vigilantes from the dawn of their foundation. They opposed Superhumans and men alike who would dare forge antagonism and dismantle the peaceful boundaries between men and Superhumans. Nicholas Washterson was that man who pursued a quest for reconciliation through the means of mutual agreement. He was a renowned senator of the state and was also known by many to be a Superhuman himself. Though being what he truly was became a subject of controversy. 

That was until he was betrayed by a fellow senate who knew of his vigilante faction and brought his classified identity to the council's headline. He was imprisoned with accusations forming charges of terrorism and corruption. By then, he disposed his quest for peace and a radical change instilled his vision that was once granted to prosper the lives of Superhumans. He became a figure of war, a leader contrived by mutiny. Soon, after his release, a revolution was formed for the sole purpose of overthrowing the government and their indignation towards Superhumans. 

Other factions were formed, comprising of rebellious individuals. Altogether, they waved a single objective same as to Nicholas Washterson's. A number of them turned to violent acts of forceful diplomacy while the rest purged the state with their protests against government organizations. Among them was the most influential of all, the Superhuman Crusade & Alliance Revolution led by none other than the leader of all factions, Nicholas Washterson. S.C.A.R. was perhaps the faction that the government feared the most as it was where the most powerful Superhumans belonged.

[hider=then][indent]What was once a group of vigilantes became a rebellious faction bound to purge the disparity inflicted against Superhumans. S.C.A.R. was initially consisted of people with influential positions such as lawyers, CEOs of multi-million corporations and etc. Founded by the state senator Nicholas Washterson, its sole purpose of establishment was to restore a peaceful agreement between men and Superhumans alike by deviating the displeasure posed against the rights of Superhumans. S.C.A.R. has one of the most advanced technological framework known to man. From memory erasing mechanisms to power suits equipped with jet boosters, powerful firearms and a comm system used for their operations, it'd be no surprise why attaining membership from S.C.A.R. was beyond difficult by any standards. As for most ― if not all ― secretive organizations, identities of the members were often kept highly classified. S.C.A.R. didn't limit their membership to Superhumans alone as they also permit normal humans to join their cause for tranquility. 

One unforeseen betrayal of former S.C.A.R. member and also a fellow senate board of Nick Washterson named Terrance Mikefield caused the exposure of S.C.A.R. The root of it was Mikefield's endless argument towards their main cause, knowing there can never be peace between ordinary humans and Superhumans. While the discovery of S.C.A.R. led to a mass confiscation of the technology they carried, Nick Washterson did his best to conceal the identities of other members by providing false information about the faction and how it operated. Untruthfully confessing that it was built for terrorism, Nick was imprisoned for his unjustifiable acts and was cleared from his senate position. 

After being released from prison, Nick re-established S.C.A.R. now as a mutinous movement against the government. Upon its restoration, original members returned along with newer ones who were eager to join their cause. They've recovered their technological equipment with the help of Japanese-American scientist Seline Matsushiya. As how they operated became different from before. S.C.A.R., in its revolutionary state, used tactics of ransom, kidnapping highly influential people such as congressmen, senators, etc., in negotiation of other useful information that could strengthen Nick's army. Along the lines of their other rebellious procedures include initiations of destructive riots with the help of other factions and espionage. [/indent][/hider]

[hider=now][indent]Nicholas Washterson's death wasn't the end of S.C.A.R. despite how the government declared it to be. Though nothing was left from the ashes of war, there was one person who collected Nick's bequest and slowly placed them altogether over the years. Lloyd Washterson was Nick's foster child no one ever knew of, save for a few closely-related people. Even for a man who started a revolutionary conquest, he was a loving father and dared not to let anyone knew of his child for the fear of losing him during the tides of his own destruction. To keep his safety abided, Lloyd was sent to Japan at the age of 12 along with Nick's most trusted valet, Antoine Torres as his son's appointed guardian. There, Lloyd stayed for nearly 20 years before returning to the United States. 

On his return, Lloyd ventured the ruins of S.C.A.R.'s underground headquarters only to uncover a sub-facility untouched by the government during its complete decimation. Underneath the premises contained back-up data files and information regarding the headquarter's initial development and operation. Files that were recovered held enough basis towards S.C.A.R.'s reconstruction. They provided a detailed outline of the structures built, along with blueprints of S.C.A.R.'s invented technologies that were used prior its revolutionary transformation and during the war they've commenced. 

Being the same as his father, Lloyd also possessed a burning hatred towards the government. During the ten-year peace celebrated after the war, Lloyd rebuilt S.C.A.R.'s headquarters piece by piece with the help of some powerful friends who once served his father and also from the tonnes of money resting on his reserve. Currently, S.C.A.R. returned to its operational status though its volume of presence wasn't manifesting any impact yet. They functioned as a highly classified organization launched for sabotage, data breaching and coordinated incursions. Members were mostly non-Superhuman but were well-trained in the field of martial arts and espionage. Recruits were often bound for extensive physical training while advanced practices include a variety of simulations for the sole purpose of enhancing one's ability of flawlessly completing their day-to-day operations.

[indent]It is known globally as the most secured and heavily guarded prison facility of the world. It also where the most dangerous Superhuman criminals from around the world are being held alongside with the members of the rebel faction who opposed the U.S. government and waged war against them 20 years ago. Built around a time span of 15 years after the existence of Superhumans was brought to society, the ORB was a 10-billion-dollar project invested by the United Nations to further secure the future protection of citizens against the rise of Superhumans. The ORB is located at a remotely isolated place in Alaska. Its main structure resembles that of an orb as it is circularly shaped from its complete exterior. However the circular structure ―or perhaps building, only serves as an observatory and a main entrance point for vehicles and people alike. The ORB's main structure lies underground, deeply constructed with pods being used as the main transportation method through a system of tunnels. The ORB is also known for its exceptional security with having 150 guards on-duty for the morning shift and 100 for the night shift. Android robots patrol the hallways 24/7, equipped with electroshock weapons, laser scanners and rocket launchers in case a breakout is carried out. Cameras are also operational 24 hours a day. Every cell contains an advanced type of security camera which is able to become invisible for a maximum of 10 hours. Cells are made up of titanium alloy with no windows and doors but with a transparent field for inspection purposes. If an inmate is required to transfer to another cell or just to go out for certain reasons, security brings an android robot along as they are the ones who enable inmates to pass through the transparent field of the cell by dissolving its atomic structures and letting the inmate walk through.  What keeps inmates from using their powers is through a particular technology that can completely suppress the flow of their powers' wake. The technology is called the Joedthaven, named after the scientist who devised the suppression concept of Superhuman powers. It is a fan-like mechanism that when rotating, releases a unique kind of UV waves which purges the functions of a Superhuman power, rendering them completely unusable by any means. It only radiates UV waves at a distinct radius and as to make the entire structure of the ORB free from Superhuman powers, every segment and sub-facility are well-equipped with the Joedthaven.
