Saiph and Rigel were twin boys of the alpha, Betelgeuse. When it came time to choose a successor, Rigel won and Saiph [i]should[/i] have become the clan beta. But, it had been such a close fight that Rigel felt threatened by his brothers presence and had him exiled instead. As was his right as alpha. Now Saiph is heading to earth to try and become the new alpha of "Pack Terra". Unsurprisingly, those who were also sent back to earth just happened to be Saiph's supporters. Two birds with one stone.
