Soulless grinned as his mother went and opened the cabinets for each of them then Soulless went to his cabinet looking at the amazing spiked skull armor (the one on the left) putting it on noticing that in the front where the chest plate was a symbol of a minion painted on with green crossbones behind the head and the eyes on the skull on his shoulder was glowing from the crystals already set to green. This armor was perfect for Soulless showing others the fear and death that came from him. His weapon was the embodiment of his love for poisons The poison basher at least that's what minions started to call it and he couldn't blame them because of the design and the fact that it was mace he looked carefully and noticed that each spike was tipped with poison. This armor and this weapon together will make Soulless feared among all who dare to look at him and those stupid enough to attack him will die in agony. This was perfect for him This is me was all Soulless could say bowing lightly to his mother despite how much she spent time on herself she did have her moments of being a good mother like this.

"Serves the pest right." Pix muttered under her breath, wishing she had done more than simply smother the minion after Gnarl's passing the buck.

The presence of her mother, as well as the mothers of her half-siblings, brought about her curiosity. It was rare to see the three older women in a room together and not constantly trying to one-up each other. As they spoke, Pix corrected her mistaken first impression. As usual, even something as simple as presenting gifts to their children involved thinly veiled fighting.

The gifts in question quickly took the young woman's attention anyways, a smirk forming on her face and an ominous twinkle in her glowing orange eyes. Approaching the set of armor and weapons that was hers, Pix couldn't help but approve as she set about putting it on.

"How ever did you know, Mother?" Pix commented, as if receiving a much-desired birthday present.

A blood red bodysuit of leather served as the undermost layer, tailored to hug her form. To such a degree, in fact, that she suspected the minions of sneaking her measurements when she was asleep. The armor itself was so deep a blue as to appear black, and after donning it all, all that could be seen of the red leather was her upper arms, thighs, and around her waist. Though the heavy metal added some bulk to her stature, the design was sleek and alluring in a manner that served to enhance her form rather than obscure it.

The helm, last to be put on, was almost as sleek and rounded as the rest of her armor. A gap in the front left her mouth and chin exposed, while thin slits let the ominous orange glow of her eyes shine through. Allowance was made for her red hair to spill out like flames across her back and shoulders unhindered. Finally, a pair of horns attached to the side swept back and upwards in a twisting manner.

After admiring her armor, Pix took the accompanying dagger in one of her claw-like gauntlets. Though most thought of daggers as thin and short, this blade was nearly the length of her forearm and had a thick and hexagonal shape. A dagger meant for precision stabbing, not wild cutting, and it's weight and shape was such that a well-directed thrust could send it's sharpened point through even heavy plate mail. As someone who preferred not getting her own hands dirty, it was well suited to her as a weapon of strategic use or last resort.

Wolfram looked at his mother... and other mothers, they had always been... understanding, accepting even. It seemed their nurturing had lead up to this day. Wolfram's armor quite fit his preferred tactic. It was quite simply enormous. Segmented plate over chainmail, and padding on the inside for the sake of comfort. It was a perfect fit. Not that he was expecting otherwise. There really wasn't much else to say about the armor other than its sheer bulk. Wolfram had never really cared about looking fashionable on the battlefield. As long as equipment fulfilled its function, he couldn't care less if it looked like Giblet designed it after smoking a loaf of elven tobacco.

The accompanying weapon was where he couldn't hide his enthusiasm anymore. "Adequate", he simply said as he compared the new weapon to his old one. Though it had sentimental value, there was no denying the old hunk of metal he had forged on a whim one day was of rather inferior quality. He had always held on to it however, as to not concede his inferior smithing skills to his siblings. He now threw the hammer to some nearby minions. "Return to room!" He said curtly. The new hammer was a work of art. Its head was made of pure tungsten. A metal that the dwarves had recently confirmed to in fact really exist. The handle was ergonomically sized for maximium efficiency in maiming. Again, the aesthetic design looked utilitarian and standardized, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

While Zyphus strongly suspected that Gnarl was doing exactly has he had told them to do whenever they did something that they could get in trouble for; When the wolves are on your tail, it's time to throw someone off the sled. Of course he couldn't actually call Gnarl out on this because he couldn't actually prove it...

Arriving at the armory and being welcomed by his mother and step mothers was a... mixed surprise. He didn't like Aunt Fay in the slightest and his relationship with his own mother wasn't exactly the greatest of relationships, but the fact that Auntie Kelda was there brought a smile to his face. There were a few words pleasantries shared before gifts were presented... and Zyphus got a good look at the armor that his mother had prepared for him.

In truth he was quite surprised by the sight of it since it suggested a level of insight that he didn't often attribute to his mother. Then again if there was anything the self absorbed harpy knew about it was fashion and how to make someone look good. Donning the armor while saving the hood for last, once it was up all that could be seen of his face from under the shadows was the glow of his yellow eyes.

The weapon that had been created to do with the armor was just as impressive; At first glance it had appeared to be a warpick that had been created from human or elven bones, but closer inspection reveled it to be made of metal that had been treated to look like bone. It had been masterfully created and balanced as a few practice swings proved easily enough. There seemed to be an enchantment on the blade itself but he could tell what it was exactly...

Turning to look at his mother, Zyphus offered her a surprisingly sincere "Thank you mother."

With each of the young Overlords in their armor, Gnarl smiled. "This way, Masters and Mistresses." He began heading back up the stairs with a sigh. "Now, since we don't have the Tower Heart, I can't send you as far as I'd like. However, with the help of Mistress Fay and a few blues, I should be able to get you close enough. In the field, you won't be able to call any minions except browns."

"Old one!" a young, loincloth-clad brown called, running up to him from atop the stairs. "They took the stones."

"What stones?" Gnarl scowled, walking past the young one.

"The spell stones. The Minion Totems. All of them." it replied, rushing to keep up with the elder as to not end up under the feet of one of its masters.

"Those aren't a priority." Gnarl yelled back at him.

Luna was the first to react once they reached the pool where the Tower Heart was supposed to be. The pool looked muddy and disgusting. She kicked the young messenger into the pool with a smirk before stepping in herself, making sure to step on its back.

"Mistress Luna has the right idea." Gnarl nodded. "Mistress Fay, if you would."

Fay rolled her eyes but stood at the opposite end from gnarl, 4 blues taking their spots around the pool.

Soulless sighed softly as he followed and soon seeing that they had to get in the water to be transported, honestly it wasn't that soulless mind getting dirty its just that he wanted the first thing on his armor to be the blood of his enemies not muddy water. Reluctantly Soulless walked into the pool after his half sister his mace behind his shoulder as he waited for the others to join them. So much for calling on the only type of minions that Soulless can say was the most useful to him which were the greens. He made sure that his skull on his right shoulder had been set to browns before walking into the pool itself. while were gone try to figure out what happened to the other minion hives gnarl, I cant very well make good poisons without the greens around Soulless said already taking charge of having gnarl search for the minion hives. While the greens were his minion servants he knew that his other brothers and sisters would want to have their own favorites by their side as they fight.

As the messenger arrived to inform them of the disappearance of yet more of the artifacts of the tower, Zyphus started to grind his teeth a little as the anger started to boil. But he wasn't going to throw a fit and randomly break things like some spoiled brat or a petty thug; He was an Overlord after all. He was going to remain calm, make some inquiries, find out who exactly was reasonable for the situation they now found themselves in and then he was going to start breaking things, but with precision.

He glanced towards his little brother Soulless before starting "We'll get your friends back soon enough little brother, don't worry. But first..."

Turning his attention towards Gnarl, Zyphus's smile would have made the old minion and Aunt Fay proud if they could actually see it under the shadows of the hood that consumed his face; Thankfully it seemed to carry over into his voice through. It was the kind of tone of voice that belongs to a man in a dark alley that calls you 'Friend'. Such people are not friendly. "Gnarl, while we are gone I want to you gather every minion left in this tower and I want you to sweep the whole thing from top to bottom for any remaining invaders, how they got into our home and if possible how they left after they stole just about everything. I for one do not want to go through all the effort of getting our stuff back only to have it stolen out from under us again."

"And do be thorough Gnarl. Because after witnessing the grossly incompetent mess that has been the security of our tower under your oversight I am not in a forgiving mood. If I learn that there are still trespassers and ways into our home after your search is complete then I'm afraid you're going to have to be demoted... to a talking head on a stick. I'm sure that Quaver would love to have a straight minion to enhance his performances don't you agree?"

With his own set of instructions given, Zyphus took a step into the dirty water that was going to be teleporting them soon. Such was life after all.

Oya looked at the water sighing as she walked into the muddy gunk filled water. All the while being rather annoyed that this muck was getting on her brand new armor. Oh well, at least they were going to go retrieve their stolen property, and destroy the lives of the ones responsible. So at least there was that bit of fun to look forward to. Then heard her brother talking, and looked at him. This wasn't just the minions fault, they were just as to blame as they were. To blame the minions for everything gone wrong was childish. However, the fact remains we should've quite easily seen the thieves coming, and just as easily stopped them. We are stronger than most creatures and beings roaming this land, not to mention we had countless minions at our disposal. To put the blame on Gnarl who's merely an old attendee is childish brother. We are the overlords even if in training, still we should've done our jobs in ensuring the security of our fortress, and not left everything to the minions. Who all save a few are as dumb as a bag of rocks. We got lazy, and thus we became careless. We failed to see them, and failed to realize what had happened till it was too late. It's a humiliating turn of events to say the least not just for us, but for everyone here. However, the true trick is to learn from these failures, and grow from them. To stay adamant that none of us made a mistake that resulted in these turn of events is quite simply put, idiotic. I know my siblings are not idiots. Or am I mistaken in that assumption? Then crossed her arms standing beside her siblings she knew better than to think less of them. After all they shared the same bloodline, and thus deserved a decent amount of respect. After all to underestimate ones opponents is a good way to end up dead.

Wolfram heard his siblings bickering about who to blame. It did not interest him. TO him, there was a different priority, getting it all back. "Just let gnarls searché He simply said as he marched into the pool. Sure, on some level he had heard Oya's long-winded speech about their own responsibility in the matter, but hell if he was going to concede he was to blame partially. "Almost good they stole it... gives us a reason to go and show them we"re as good at this as our father has been."

Avalon, now equipped in his newly forged armour created from the scales of an ice dragon, in which a silk cloak swayed from his shoulders down to his thighs.

Had the vision been a warning of the very events that were taking place? It was hard to say. Diving into the Magika Realms was dangerous and unpredictable. But it was a necessary risk.

Avalon had seen the ritual a few times. All magic was connected to itself one way or another; this was the best way of locating the Tower Heart.

Without much dispute, Avalon entered the water without any fuss.

With everyone in the pool, Gnarl, Fay and the 4 blues cast the spell that would put the 8 of them near a small town.

Luna looked around as she stepped from the spire, looking at the four colored lights on the ground. As she got closer, the brown light became a hole in the ground. She lifted her left hand, calling forth 5 minions. Leading from the spire were 4 paths.

Ahead of them, the path was easy to follow, leading to a small farm in the distance. Blocking the path was a small piece of a fallen pillar, one easily moved by 5 minions.

To the right of the spire, a small, nearly hidden path shot out. In front of it was a small piece of a wall that, if felled, would act like a bridge.

Behind the spire was a thin path which spread wide for a turn blocked by a trio of nearly complete pillars. Each pillar alone would take 10 minions to move.

To the left, there was a small path that led to a hill filled with sheep.

Luna looked at her siblings, picking out Avalon. She looked at the sheep then back at her brother with a half-shrug, suspecting him to be the best to slaughter anything living, even if it was just to harvest souls. She then looked at the minions she had summoned, pointing at the pillar piece blocking the path.

Pix was hardly in the mood for any sort of adventure to recover their stolen property, but she was perfectly willing to admit it was an important task to be done. The prospect of punishing whoever had done so, and thus was also responsible indirectly for her rude awakening, did manage to put more pep in her step. Standing with her arms lightly crossed, drumming clawed fingers against her armored forearms, she waited to see what her siblings would do. As eager as she was to inflict some pain and reinforce their superiority on the shortsighted races of the world, there was little reason to do all the hard work getting there herself.

Of course, it would be her minions doing the hard work anyways, but that was beside the point.

Avalon would smirk under his helmet at his half-sister. She knew him all to well; it wasn't the fact he enjoyed the killing, it was the fact he knew the importance of gathering as much life-force as possible.

His grip tightened around his sword as she sluggishly marched towards the ship, his other hand charging up a ice fury than encompassed his entire fist. The nearest sheep looked up at him in total confusion as to the events that would be bestowed upon it, and with a mighty chop the sword came swinging down upon it, collapsing to the floor.

Before the other sheep had the chance to run, Avalon fist opened into an open hand, shooting thousands of ice splinters that tore through the flesh of the sheep.- Not a single one remain standing.

Avalon raised his gauntlet in which a dragon had been forged into it. The life-force was drawn to the bright purple stone that laid embedded in the silver. He turned back to his siblings with a proud look, as if to tell them that this is how it was to be done.

"Let us press on towards the village." Avalon announced coolly.

Oya rolled her eyes at her brother then looked at Pix. "So your just going to stand there lazily? Let your siblings do all the grunt work? Doesn't that eventually get boring?" Then summoned her browns who had a bird skull for helmets as to tell them apart. Oya grabbed her sword, and with a flick of her wrist the wall was sliced, and the Browns pushed it over creating a bridge. She walked over it sheathing her sword on her back again. Oya's browns followed her happily, and any that ran ahead getting in her way were kicked out of the way, either into the brush or a tree. My siblings are ridiculous, but I love them all the same. I just wish we'd get along easier, if we did we would be unstoppable. Control more power than any of our predecessors before us. Yet they're so focused on one upping eachother or being the overlord in charge. When a partnership would work so much better as we all bring different things to the table. Soon Oya came to a stop hearing someone following behind her.

Draxus scanned the area with a frown. He lifted his left hand, summoning his 5 Browns. Upon seeing the wall, which one of his siblings had already knocked over, he sighed. With that path open, he glanced of his shoulder, "If anyone wishes to follow, you're free to do so." He stomped down the path with his sword drawn, unsure of what lay ahead.

Soulless watched as a few of his siblings went about their different paths but for the time being Soulless decided to just follow his big sister Oya. Soulless called up his 5 minions from the gate and his were painted green, although they went crazy with their paint either it being on their face chest or back the paint was the main way to identify that they were his. Soulless took his browns and followed his big sister listening to the last part of her little speech As long as we find the greens and I get to torture a few worshippers once and a while I have no problem working with you sis. Soulless said patting his big sisters shoulder pad to emphasis that point and he stood next to her his browns soon falling in rank with hers.

Honestly Oya was Soulless's blood siblings from the same mother so he knew her the most and as long as Soulless didn't stab her in the back she wouldn't try the same. After all Soulless was the runt of the litter so to speak but his big sister took better care of him then his own mother after all. Soulless put his mace behind his head and motioned for her to take lead since she chose this path first...

Pix gave an amused look at Oya, the small smile on her face managing to convey the smugness of her expression.

"Oh, but dear sister, you are all so eager to take charge and do such tasks yourselves." The reply came with a tilt of her helmeted head, as she continued with a tone of fake curiosity. "Surely my dear siblings can handle some rocks and sheep on their own without needing help?"

Turning her attention to the now opened paths, the blue-skinned redhead hummed to herself in thought as she pondered which way she wished to go. With a casual wave of her hand, five Browns sprang from the Minion summoning pit as she passed. Stepping up next to Luna as her sister's minions set to work moving the small pillar, she kept her tiny entourage gathered in front of her.

"I wonder what the farmers have to say for themselves, don't you?" The question was asked without expecting a verbal response, though she did bother to turn her gaze towards Luna in order to see if a physical one would follow.

Don't worry little brother we'll find your greens. Plus I'm rather interested in finding and punishing the disobedient little slaves that stole from us. Yet I know most of them would be too stupid to not have a leader. So I am especially excited to flay the flesh off of their bodies, and inflicting other draconian methods of torture. I'd find that a rather therapeutic experience. Then pat her little brother on the head. She practically raised Soulless. While their actual mother was more focused on her wants, and desires than her own children. Oya didn't really like Juno, but appreciated that shed given her life, and her siblings. Even if she were evil she loved her siblings. But, she wasn't stupid if they betrayed her she would change from siblings to enemies. Ones she'd not rest till they were ground into fine powder, and scattered to the winds to never come together again. Come on let's go see what this path has to offer. Who knows maybe we just might find the green hive going this way. Then turned to start walking again.

Luna looked at Pix with a raised eyebrow. She rolled her eyes with a quick shrug, watching her minions move the pillar piece. She eyed her sister's weapon with a smile, stepping forward once the pillar piece was out of the way and her browns back at her side.

Despite the fact they had the same father, Luna had always thought both Pix and Oya to be rather attractive. She tried not to show it, though she knew she left clues for anyone who was observant enough to see them.

Down the path ahead of them was a small, burning farm house, obviously built for humans. However, halflings ran from the building, the last one burning and falling in front of them. Seeing the large beings in armor, the remaining three ran behind the building, continuing down the path.

Luna ran after him, her minions fast behind her. She cast a quick fireball at one, knocking them over for her minions to massacre. The other 2 ran faster.

Down the path behind the wall was a small hill. From atop the hill, Oya, Soulless and Draxus could see a spellstone on an island in the river, a minion totem surrounded by small trees, ones that would be easily burned by reds, and a set of health and mana fountains, neither of which Draxus would need at the moment. Farther down the path, half-hidden in a wheat field, was a mana stone that would increase the magic of all 8 siblings.

personally I prefer to make them swallow one of elixirs and watching then gag and choke before their body turns inside out. It's music to my ears soulless said with a grin as he followed his big sister his browns sticking in rank with hers until he noticed something glimmering in the wheat field and found a spell stone ahead. looks like we found out first treasure soulless said as he pointed and his minions went over to pick up the spell stone
