This is an old RP of mine. There's quite a bit to it, though things are subject to change. However the basic idea is that Vampires, Werewolves, and other supernatural beings exist in hiding from humanity. For the most part, they are well behaved and resist preying on the lowly humans. Those that do are labeled criminals, and tracked and executed by Bounty Hunters. Supernaturals keep this all within their own community, supernaturals who need some extra cash would go to a bounty board hidden throughout the city, take a bill, and find and wipe out the criminal before they break the masquerade to humanity. The City. (Tourists shot on sight) Blackbury, Located in the UK, considered by some to be the Mecca of supernatural creatures. It's history goes back to the 1500s, established by a now extinct order of Vampire Slayers, who would perhaps be rolling in their graves if they knew that all the power in the city lies in the hands of their prey. The city is fairly large, nearing almost four million residents, almost ten percent of which are not human. The single largest concentration of Supernaturals on earth. Most come for the sense of community, there are many Supernatural-friendly businesses, and the police are mostly paid under the table by wealthy vampires to ignore unnatural crimes and let the Vigilantes do their work. Not that they are aware, sometimes corruption can protect humanity more than it hurts them. Races of the World *Note: Original races is completely allowed, but there are rules. -No divine or infernal beings (angels/demons) They exist but are not playable for plot reasons -Must have some horror aspect -Must be able to blend in with humanity to some degree -An original race must have a summary posted in the thread or messaged to me in a similar format to the ones below
No sparkling Pale, nearly immortal predators of the night. Synthesized blood has come a long way, and most Vampires can resist the bloodlust well enough. Vampires are born when a human has a significant amount of their blood drained by Vampire from their neck. No other bite will turn. Turning humans is discouraged, but not strictly a crime in the Supernatural community Strengths. -Superior strength, speed, and healing, though not as much as Werewolves -Never age from the point of turning (Though if significantly old when turned, may revert to appearing younger) -When suffering fatal damage, will revert to ash and can be revived by just a single drop of human blood. Synthesized will not work. Vampiric ash has the uncanny ability to reassemble into a pile if it is scattered, though this takes time. -Unnaturally charming to humans Weaknesses. -Sunlight causes intense burning on exposed skin, will burn the Vampire to ash after a certain amount of exposure, depending on the individual constitution of the Vampire. Can be resisted with heavy clothing and by avoiding strong sunlight. -If ash remains are permanently separated into two halves, such as by putting it in two different containers, revival would be delayed indefinitely. -Particularly bright lights of any kind can blind a Vampire temporarily -Pale skin and red eyes can be a dead giveaway to their nature. -Holy water either on their bodies or ashen remains will permanently kill them.

*Howling* Shapeshifters, the ultimate predator, Werewolves are the most common Supernaturals to take up a job bounty hunting. Enhanced senses and perfect human disguise make them adept at tracking and gathering information, provided the full moon isn't out. Lycanthropy is genetic, and passed down from the mother, but also in rare cases contagious. If a significant amount of werewolf DNA gets into a humans body, and doesn't kill them, they may become one as well. Though never as strong as a born Werewolf. Strengths. -Incredible senses in either form. -Enhanced strength, speed, and healing. -Can shapeshift into an anthropomorphic wolf, making them stronger, faster, and enhancing their senses further -Often as or more intelligent than the average human. Weaknesses. -Tendency towards losing control and becoming monsters of instinct, especially with the lunar phases. -Full moon nights force transformation. And often temporary insanity -Wounds caused by silver will heal at or slower than the rate of a normal human. Prolonged contact with silver will corrode their flesh. -Despite their enhanced healing, a severe enough wound to a vital organ (usually heart or brain) will kill instantly -average or only slightly more than average human lifespan

Yer a wizzard 'arry Every so often, a human is born capable of incredible things. Parting an ocean, healing, predicting the future. These humans are often considered heroes and legends, but the Supernatural community just knows them as Magic-Users. The magic gene is a random mutation all humans are subject to, over time it has become more common, to the point that in the current day, it is hypothesized around a million humans may have it, or more. The only thing known is that if two magic users have a child, the child is guaranteed to be one as well. Strengths. -Power only limited by available energy and imagination. -Longer than average lifespan -Magical energy is easy to regain, it is the bodies natural energy. It can be boosted with any sort of stimulant drug (Caffeine works well for most, but other drugs such as cocaine can also be used) and is not reduced by depressant drugs. -Immune to producing addictions to the substances they use to fuel their magic Weaknesses. -As fragile as any human -Overuse of magic causes fatigue and occasionally death -No sort of magical education, all are basically forced to figure out what they can do on their own -Typically looked down upon as just "special" humans
Important Locations Underworld. The most active Supernatural club in the city. Located in the northern part of Blackbury, Underworld is aptly named, it exists mostly underground, built out of an old gang lair. Every Supernatural in the city is welcome, but humans are unlikely to even find it, much less get in. Underworld has a bar, dance floor, some private rooms, and is multiple information dealers. It is also home to Blackbury's official bounty board, and thus has a reputation as a sort of "second home" f.or supernatural vigilantes. Underworld is operated by Michael, a near five thousand year old Vampire, and one of the most influential men in the city. The Police Station. Blackbury's police force is in an interesting spot, while the city officially has a low crime rate, so many Supernatural crimes get swept under the rug that plenty of young people who want to make a difference tend to become officers. Many get disgusted by the rampant corruption, but are usually unable to make a difference. The police station is roughly in the center of the city. From time to time, Supernaturals are arrested and brought in for various reasons, and may have to spend some brief time in a cell before one of the higher ups receives the order and money to let them go.
Name: Appearance: Gender: Age: Race: Biography: Personality: Weaponry: Other Possessions: Theme Song: Miscellaneous:
The story starts on a particularly dark night, where a string of seemingly connected attacks against both humans and supernaturals starts... This RP is aiming for high casual standards. and the basic genre could be called "Supernatural modern detective thriller" with a healthy heaping of action and some horror.
