As Aldous watched from the sidelines all the drama that was occurring, he decided that it wasn't his business to get involved and that he should go back to his job. Albeit with a slightly different goal. Without so much as a word, he went to the navigation systems and began to look through everything in the vicinity to tell what was busted and what was somewhat salvageable. What the mechanic could salvage from the debris he would, and he stuffed it into his over-shirt (under-which he wore a tee shirt, being a mechanic was messy) in a sort of makeshift bag. Unfortunately, he realized that he'd probably have some trouble getting things that were either too close to a loose wire or trapped under some rubble.

He made a light note in his head to get MARTYN to help him later, it was probably preoccupied as of now.
