Beacon Academy Lecture Hall - Monday Evening [@Akayaofthemoon] Cyra was just unrolling her sleeping bag onto its air mattress when she heard the knock at the door. She had been lucky, one of the small lecture halls had been unlocked, promising a night of safety. A promise now broken by that single voice at the door. "Hello? Is anyone in here? I noticed someone slipping out and I just wanted to make sure you were alright. If you're sick you really shouldn't be alone. Plus we are supposed to stay with the group..." She eyed the narrow strip of light that lanced across the room only a few feet away. It was still rather dark, maybe if she remained quiet and still, the person would think the room was empty and leave. She really should have set up closer to the desks instead of the middle of the floor... The strip of light widened, and the voice spoke again. "Um, I can see you, you know. Are you alright?" Cyra's shoulders sagged a little, admitting defeat. "Fudge," she breathed. Reaching up, she pulled her scarf back up over her nose and rose to meet them. It's okay, just quietly explain why you're in here. She sounds too young to be one of the teachers, there's a chance you'll be left in peace. The words died on her lips when she turned around and saw who it was. The same girl she had seen in the ballroom not even a minute before, her raven hair tied up in a long braid that brushed against her thighs as she took hesitant steps into the lecture hall. She had looked pretty before; now, framed by the soft golden light from the hallway, she looked positively angelic. Cyra swallowed again, hard. Her. Why, why did it have to be her. Pulling up her scarf had been a good idea, it would hide most of the blush that was now creeping across her face. "H-hi. Um... uh... s-sorry, I-I didn't think anyone h-had seen me." Why wouldn't her mouth work all of the sudden?
