[@greywolf375] it really depends on where your focus lies as a ranger. Are you focussing on archery or melee combat? If you're melee then you might want something more protective. Are you proficient in sneaking around? Then you might want something that makes less noise and with darker colours. Try to find an outfit that suits your character's strengths.
