"...ah...wakarimashita.." Scout out the area while those other two conduct a survey around. Easy enough, but still.... Why were they conducting a survey on orders of the Queen? At least she wasn't the one doing asking all the questions. "So, we're to be the eyes of this operation." Again, the gentleman puffed out a large cloud of smoke around her. "Easy enough, though rather.... slow... . Shall we get moving?" "..I'm going first.." Mado started to run towards the southern part of the village, but slowed to a jog when she realized running full speed with a knife in her hand was probably a bad idea. *** Again, she had scrambled into a pot on one side of the street. There was just a slight problem of the pot being filled to the brim with water, and that she was probably sitting in someone's drinking water. At least it had a lid on it, though she did wish that bucket beside her would stop bumping into her. The gentleman had said he'd hold on to he medicines and other things that would spoil in the water, so all she had now was her knife, and that old wooden handle in her pocket. Suddenly she closed the lid, as she saw two 'men', a tunic wearing beaver and an aardvark wearing a tabard. Probably makes sense since aardvarks have their own armor. "So whats this bout them rumors about people movin up in that old cabin out in those woods?" she heard one of them say. Pushing the lid slightly open, she concluded it was the aardvark's voice. "Daft, the lot of them." The beaver moved closer to the pot. "I think we need only one bucket of water this time." "For what?" "Your stinking pot of soup that what. You always-" *SPLASH clunk* Both of them turned to the pot, which now has a bucket of water sitting outside of it. Mado had taken out the bucket filled with water and left it outside, making sure their backs was turned before she did it. "Kad? I think your pot heard you, and left that bucket there." "Nonsense, probably one of those pot monsters living in there." The beaver picked up the bucket and walked away, the aardvark following it closely. "Come along, our meal won't cook itself." "What? A pot monster in this here parts?" "They're migrating I think." As their voices trailed away, she peeked out from under the lid cautiously, and then put out her head completely when she was sure the streets were empty. While that was a bit entertaining, eavesdropping on people, she found an empty house just across the street from the pot. Mado did recall she was supposed to break into empty houses like that Haku person said. But was she supposed to do it alone? Unsure on how to proceed, she stood there on the street, her wet clothes dripping and clinging to her skin.
